Flicker on the ACL could be a motor problem, as we found out after literally thousands of dollars and THREE techs, the first two of whom truly suck. One is on the East Coast, and one is on the West. Anyone with an Eclair should know who I mean. Old, tired, weird guys who are routinely dispensing bad advice, and irresponsible service. Visual Products finally fixed it, but it was pricey. The only rational advice is: go with Arri (newer!) or Aaton if you are serious about your projects.

This is awesome... now if someone could make a tutorial on getting camera noise out of their audio (WIthout redubbing of course).
