  • @ClearCrystal92 But bed sheets, don't get allergic reactions.. xD

  • @ClearCrystal92 you're *

  • @ClearCrystal92 She already said she never have any allergic reaction to anything. The product probably create a chemical reactions to her scalp / skin. I know how her feel cause i have experience a WORSE chemical reaction on my hands but thank god it can be safe. I still have the marks though. So yeah=)

  • @ClearCrystal92 omg why do you even comment on this video? you should really listen to what she says in the video! gosh ...

  • @ClearCrystal92 oh and the towel and bed sheet was allergic too ..

  • i had the same exact problem! except with the brunette version. it gave me terrible reactions on the back of my ears

  • My goodness girl, that looks like a chemical burn. Honestly, it looks like a bleach chemical burn. You problay have more sensitive skin then other ppl. That product needs a warning label!! one question, did it burn when the product was in your hair?

  • My goodness girl, that looks like a chemical burn. Honestly, it looks like a bleach chemical burn. You problay have more sensitive skin then other ppl. That product needs a warning label!!

  • Thanks, I was actually thinking of trying that shampoo, but i'm glad I saw this video first! I allready have a sensetive scalp or whatever so I really don't think it would handle something like this too well :) thanks a lot!

  • i like how thr.e dog just keeps dissapering and apperring

  • @kaitlyn573 loreal ever pure is sulfate free. It's at the drug store. Even if you just find the fading resistant one for colored hair, it's really just a less harsh shampoo without sulfates, so you can use it on natural hair too. :).

  • @ClearCrystL92 I used to bleach my hair and I'd say that it's pretty clear there's peroxide in the shampoo.. Lol. It burned her neck, bleached her towel where her hair was in it. I mean I'm assuming since it's under hair hairline, that's where the product didn't rinse off. And that would definitely burn your skin.

  • that bump is allergic reaction, something in that caused you to be allergic in it.

  • I love the lightening spray!! I couldn't go one morning without using this. It's a miracle worker.

  • I haven't tried this product because I had an issue when I tried one of their Brilliant Brunette Shampoo and Conditioners. I had gotten my hair colored darker for a couple of months and after using this product for only a short time like a week I ended up with blue and green tones in my hair.

  • i love love love love love love love love this product!

  • wow, my mom used the kind for darker blondes and it did the same thing!

  • so your allergic big whoop i used it (not anymore) thats only cause i dont want blond hair anymore tho

  • is it completely gone now??? since it;s been almost a year

  • I've used this for more than a year and never ever had problems, its just like any shampoo, I havn't really noticed much lightening though.. although I use it all the time so I don't really see and difference from if I didn't use it. It's never given me a reaction and it feels like any normal shampoo. Yeah maybe your just allergic to chamomile or something...

  • My sister uses this product, and she has never had any problems or skin allergy's to it, my sister suffers with exema anyway and the shampoo or the condictioner has never affected it. I used it once or twice when my shampoo would run out and ive never had any problems with it either, although now im more inclinded to use the brunette one. I feel sorry that the company had messed this girl about but i dont think she should use this product again.

  • I don't think that it is a bad product, I think that you were just allergic to it. Always do a patch test!

  • I used this product for a few weeks when I had gotten Blonde highlights throughout my hair for the summer (my hair is currently fire engine red). Over the few weeks I didn't really notice any allergic reactions and such (which could be because my hair has been through so much colouring and such that it has become accustomed to almost everything) BUT I also didn't seem to see much of a difference.. In my opinion the product barely worked. But it may be different for someone else.

  • Well, every day our bodies change, so something that you've never had a allergic reaction to before, you can have one now :3 It's a bit unusual but at the same time it's not impossible either, my friends use it all the time and they have no reaction to it like that... So maybe it's just you.

  • @ClearCrystal92 it's the fact she had such a severe reaction to that product and that product only, she said she'd used other hair lightening things before, presuamly thy'd have similar or the same things in them and there was no problem. psoriasis and the red mark for a whole month is quite reidiculous, and the towel and sheet staining is really bad. she has a point, wether or not it was a petty reaction, it got something funny in it.

  • @ClearCrystal92 it doesnt sound liek it.

  • @ClearCrystal92 she did say that -.-

  • I have the older verison of it, like the last verison before the re-did it.

It works perfectly, no makrs or anything, and my mom has the new one. She didnt have any problems either!

  • never used it and now i am not going to xx

  • I have been using this for a couple of days, i had ginger tinged hair and its making my hair seem a bit more blonde. But i'm busy at the moment and i have quite a delicate scalp so i'll stop using it for a while. xx

  • i use it and it works really well..

  • i'm using the sheer blonde go blonder spray and i love it!! no reaction or anything!!

  • sue the company. i know i would haha

  • I used a Garnier shampoo and I got Psoriasis!

  • Hi, yes suffered from very dry fizzy hair after using this stuff, and like you am always using lightening products in my hair with no problems, i wouldnt reccomend it to anyone either and i am damn sure there is bleach in it.

  • Funny…I was watching this and I was going to comment that I never had a problem when I used this stuff. In fact I am/was using this right now. However, the more I thought about it I realized my scalp the last time I used it and the current time I've been using it was REALLY itchy and my hair started to fall out. I attributed it to diet or something…I am not going to use this shampoo anymore though because now that I am using it again, my hair has started to fall out again!

  • the product did the same thing to me! hmmm

  • WOW that is really scary so glad you shared this with all of us. Thank You

  • Wow, this doesn't even lighten my hair and i'm nearly at the end of the bottle. Totally amazed at the bleached towels!

  • I dont think you should let people know not to get the product because of your experienceI mean you could have simply said i had a awful time but maybe it could have worked for you. I love your channel and its nothing against you .im just voicing my opinion

  • I always use this, its perfectly fine

  • dude you just had a serious reaction to the product most ppl dont have that reaction. but thanks 4 the warning!

  • I've never used this product in particular, but I have used other John Frieda shampoos/conditioners. They never caused a reaction like that, but they did dry out my hair more than anything else I've ever put on it.

  • @SoloShorty i have medium brown hair also and it made my hair beautiful!!! :)

  • I haven't had any issues with the shampoo and conditioner, I have been using both for a month.(Excuse my screen name this is my husband's account) However it hasn't done much to lighten my bleached hair. Tho it has made it much softer. My black and red towels and hot pink bed sheets have not suffered from any issues either.

    Kisses, Ammie and Tommy

  • I know this video is pretty old, but I am so glad I watched it! I was going to try the shampoo/conditioner and now definitely won't. I know that I personally may or may not have an allergic reaction, but after seeing the marks it left on you I'd rather not try. Thanks for the review! Please check out my channel by the way, I could definitely use the support and I think I could be a promising youtuber. :P

  • The dog who disappearing is a mutant dog.

  • i Never got an allergic reaction when i used this shampoo, but when i look at photos frome the time i used it, my hear is so dry and it didn't have that natural, shiny look... You should bee glad you stopped in time... ;)

  • Your intro is kind of akward..

  • i used the john freda for red hair and it did nothing to my hair.

  • i'm a brunette (almost black hair) so i haven't used that shampoo/conditioner. i have tried john frieda's repairing shampoo since i had just gotten a perm. it made my ends worse than they were after the perm. :( after seeing this, it really made me realize how terrible john frieda products are.

  • thanks i almost used that

  • I used the John Frieda shampoo for red hair and I never had a problem with it and I also started using their frizz ease stuff .I started to get really sick shortly after, I thought maybe there was citrus in the product (I'm highly allergic to it) so when my mom phoned JF they wouldn't tell her what was in it. All she asked was if there was any citrus in it because my allergy, and they said they couldn't tell her because it's a "company secret". I stopped using it and no longer trust JF.

  • Chamomille can't do that!!! please, for the rest of chemist, read!!!! and if it said peroxide free, the laboratories should be responsible for that. If you still have got "THAT" product that you used, then try to send a sample to be tested, maybe it is one in a thousand that turned to have a flaw, nevertheless, they should be aware of it!! ;)

  • @NAHORYY i agree with you, it cant possibly be chamomille fleur

  • I havent used this one, but inhale used the "straight ahead" and the "curl around" shampoo and conditioner, and my hair looks and feels so good! I really like it! It smells great as well :)

  • I used this and it made my hair really dry :( took ages to get my hair back to normal

  • I have had the one with the purple lit, and i do have to say i have been experiencing a lot of hair loss out of nowhere really, yes i think is not a good shampoo at al nor the conditioner, i am definately changing it

  • i have light brown hair with blonde highlights at my bangs but they haven't came out yet and i have blue eyes but i don't know if it will looks good with my eyes but i do like the idea of blonde hair and would this dye my hair totally blonde or just a little blonde? and would it damage my hair?

  • i have light brown hair and i have some blonde high lights by my bangs but they haven't really came out yet but would this work? if i bought it would it turn my hair blonde? or just a little bit blonde? also does it damage hair?

  • That happened to my forehead when I used that!!! It went away arter an hour though

  • I used this product before, not recently, but now from watching this I think i can safely say that in my period of using this shampoo I had open sores on my scalp. I was told it was from scratching but I rarely scratch my head. This has cleared that question up for me, thanks. [don't have sores anymore and oddly it was when I switched shampoo]

  • i actually just realized that my brand new pillow cases had a bit of bleach of marks on them from where i sleep, i just started using a new john freida shampoo about 2 days ago and im not 100% sure if its because of that but after watching this im for sure going to do some research

  • i used it and it had happend to me 2 i thought it was a heat mark but it was relly ichy

  • I would guess that your reaction was caused by the ingredients Sodium Laureth Sulfate or Sodium Lauryl Sulfate - they are known skin allergins found in a LOT of skin and hair products. The thing is they don't always affect people. It affects me in certain shampoos, but not others >.<

Or it was caused by Sodium Hydroxide, or caustic soda/lye. Could bleach the sheets/towel, if it was in too high an amount. Its really poisonous in its pure form, so it could have been over added to your batch.

  • @evelepic216 do you know of a shampoo without sulfates? right now i use an all-natural, organic, vegan shampoo but its really expensive and i've been having trouble finding one that doesn't contain emu oil.

  • @kaitlyn573 I would recommend Nature's Gate products. I switched at the beginning of the year to organic all natural chemical free hair products and I've had good luck with them and they have reasonable prices too. I've also used Burt's Bees Giovanni Macadamia Oil & The Body Shop but as far as having both quality & price I would say check out Nature's Gate.

  • @kaitlyn573 I would agree with kgfm29 - Burts Bees is really lovely and gentle, or The Body Shop. I haven't seen Natures Gate here, (I'm in New Zealand, so I don't get to see a whole lot of international products!). Also try Lush if you have one near you, not all their products have it in, although I know some do.

  • @kaitlyn573 Hi Kaitlyn=) tell me, what kind of 'good' shampoo and conditioner should i be looking for? Things like brands, prices and of course what chemicals they use that i need to be aware off...all stuff like that. Also, for the past 2weeks, i started using Revlon S.O.S Calm Treatment Shampoo and Roll On (recommend by the salon), because i thought i have dandruff but actually the itchiness is because i use too many hair product. Thanks you for your time=)

  • i've tried the spray for this particular brand, I LOVE IT SO MUCH!!!!!

  • I used John Frieda root awakening spray in the light green bottle and it did pretty much the same thing to me as that Go blonder did, I quit using it imediately. However I've been using their voluminzing shampoo and the repairing conditoner and I had no reaction. I'm sorry that happened to you, I know things like that are so disturbing.

  • actully i use it and my hair looks wonderful now

  • I've used the John Frieda Blonde collection as well...I didn't have any allergic reactions, but it had absolutely no wow factor. Honestly it didn't do much of anything for me except dry my hair out slightly. The only product I liked from the John Frieda line was the Frizz Ease Dream Curls spray.

  • I used the John Frieda Blonde serum to keep it smooth and silky? Did not work at all.

  • I have had interesting reactions to differennt products, not the Go Blonder which did no harm to me but didn't lighten my (dark blonde) hair either. My best friends household water (which is from a well) when combined with any beauty product that contains sunscreen will turn white or light colored fabrics a yellow/orange tinge. And my Proactive (benzoyl peroxide) bleaches my pillow case/ some shirt collars/ towels. Most likely your friends pillow case was bleached by a peroxide agent.

  • might just be your skin as it works just fine for me.

i actually get that mark from hairspray makes my head burn and itch, so may be a product in that that makes you react like i do to something in most hairsparys.

  • it doesnt do that for me i have purchased this like 10times and i love it

  • awe i actually love this product!!!! personal preference i guess :(

  • I bought a set of the John Frieda Sheer Blonde and the John Frieda Colour glaze. The sheer blonde products made my hair ashy so I exchanged them for the lightest blonde and they made my hair yellow and extremely dry. I did like the styling product that came with them though. The Colour Glaze DESTROYED my hair! it was shiny for all of an hour and got progressively dryer and more damaged even after I had stopped using it. It caused breakage and was horrible. CHEAP PRODUCTS THAT DONT WORK

  • @kaitlyn573

we you using the highlighting shampoo for dark blondes that made your hair ashy?

I want my blonde to be more ashy.

  • @rooostercogburn Yeah but it really wasn't very nice. It was sort of greenish and made my hair really dry. If you want your hair to be more ashy get a colour conditioner from a salon (they can be pricey but last a long time and you can add your regular conditioner to them to make them last longer) and use it a couple times a month.

  • The shampoo burnt my scalp! Thanks for posting this, I was starting to wonder if I'd just gone mad.

  • i only used the conditioner and it was fine. ;o

  • i used it for a long time and i never had problems (:

  • @LaJelJaBet can you make a video review cuz i just bought it and i wanna make sure it works before i use it

  • @LaJelJaBet I hated it. I've had five other friends who have used it and hated it. Never met someone who liked them.

  • it only really works for natural blondes because shampooh is made from detergent so it takes dies colour out of urm hair

  • @Cloudtops1 I believe that it is actual made for previously lightened or highlighted hair as specified on the bottle.

  • i actually really like it, and try to leave it in my hair while i am washing my body to make my hair even blonder, and it does, it lightens my hair little by little without drying it out, just use a lot of conditioner and deep condition your hair once a week

  • They worked great for me! It has to be an allergic reaction bc mine worked fine and my hair looks great!

  • 3:55 -> 4:13 haha :D

  • hey :) i used this hair product and it actually burned off some of my hair! i left it in for a little too long because i heard the phone ring while i was in the shower and didn't rinse it out before i answered it, but when i did rinse it out all this hair just sort of went a weird colour then the next morning it was all on my pillow.

Really scary and the worst product ever. DO NOT BUY IT!

    Ellie xox

  • I absolutely love this product and would suggest it to anyone who wants lighten their roots. I think this "Psoriasis" reaction is a RARE one, and there are risks with any products that contain any sorts of chemicals. Also, like someone that posted below i do believe that citrus extract CAN bleach, so it doesnt surprise me that it bleached their pillowcase. I would suggest rinsing for a much longer time.

  • I have used this product off and on for over a year now and love it. I have pretty sensitive skin and have to be careful with different products but this one has never caused any problems and I haven't noticed my sheets or towels getting bleached.

I am wondering though if it was actually psoriasis that you were diagnosed with because that is an autoimmune disorder so I don't think this product caused it because it occurs when your immune system gets triggered and starts producing more skin ce

  • @blaineylover a lot of shampoos trigger psoriasis because they have sulfates in them, most people with psoriasis only have sores or rashes when they are triggered by something like harsh chemicals or too much sun exposure. I'm sure her doctor has the ability to properly diagnose her.

  • i had the same issue with my towels and bedsheets :( grrr

  • I think you just had an allergic reaction it probably isnt the product because that sounds VERY rare and if that happend to lots of people it would have been taken straight off the market

  • I loved this shampoo! I guess it's just an allergic reaction. Even though you've never had bad experiences with lightening shampoo's. I'm still gonna use it.

  • Thanks so much!

  • thumbs up if you laughed at the dog!:L

  • thank you for posting this. i am an asian and i have recently bleached my hair and i almost,,, almost bought this product. i actually put it in my basket and on my second thought i put it back on the rack. But I was thinking about going back and buying it. Thank you so much. i am already miserable that my scalp has scabs from bleaching too much in lil time. i definitely did not want that. thank you.. you are beautiful btw.

  • I used it too! worked awesome, no bad experience :o

  • i love john frieda, i really does lighten my hair, i've never had a bad experience with it, i think it will only react like it did to yours to very few people.

  • haha You know how people use lemon juice to bleach their hair? Citrus extracts (i.e. lemon juice, etc.) will also bleach things such as pillowcases and towels! The whole point of this shampoo and conditioner is to lighten your hair!

  • I didn't get any weird reaction.. but it didn't make my hair any blonder.. and it got greasy a lot faster than normal.. so.. yeah..not on my 'best products' list..

  • Comment removed

  • great looking out and letting us no the truth about the product!!!

  • I have the controlled lightening spray from this range and it's been great for me, no problems whatsoever, so I'm on the fence about buying the shampoo and conditioner... I was sure that I would because there are so many amazing reviews about it but now this has worried me a little!

  • I man...I just bought this stuff...and of course my cheap-ass parents wont let me get another type of shampoo and conditinor....Lol.

  • I tried it out and i actually really love it! It did lighten my hair and it feels soft :)

  • i did used to use this shampoo and conditioner. it gave me no dryness or stains on my towels/bed sheets but it turned my mousey brown eyebrows to a gingery colour and gave me very yellow baby hairs. would not recommend either!

  • Just wanted to add my own experience to yours - smelly and dry hair - itchy scalp; my dear dark brown-haired bf accidentally used it and ended up with weird orange light bits in his fringe. Not at all mild. Yuck.

  • Do you think if this product isnt very good then the John frieda Hair dye will be the same?Thank you xx

  • Do you think if this product isnt very good then the John frieda Hair dye will be the same?Thank you xx

  • Omg you poor thing... I feel so bad for you. My friend tried this product and the same thing happened to her but nothing like yours was. I wish u the best dear.

  • I used this product for about a month...and I always had little scabs on my scalp and they would bleed. It was disgusting....But when i switched shampoos the scabs went away just like that.., and also the ends of my hair would break off easily as well. This product is awful!

  • This product is awful! It turned my hair brassy

  • but did it lighten your hair?

  • Thankyou so much for this review! I used this product a few weeks ago and then developed psoriasis on my scalp! I assumed it was due to stress as this happened a few years ago but after watching your review I'm rethinking that assumption...

  • you look so pretty and natural looking! great vids

  • I love your nail color in this video! what brand and shade is it? :)

I also used this product and it had the same " bleaching" effect on my bedding and towles. I would not recomend it to ANYONE. Horrible lol

  • oh god, that must have sucked. i used the john frieda sheer blonde go blonder shampoo and conditioner everyday for about a month. and i didn't get any allergic reactions or anything. i'm not sure if it would have stained my pillow or anything, because i always dry my hair and never go to sleep with wet hair. hope this helped :D

  • believe me, camomile and other natural extracts can no way bleach a bed sheet. The only thing that can bleach is any chemical with peroxide!! eeek! Well its called go blonder so i assume they mean "peroxide" blonde

  • oh crap i just used it for the first time tonight... ahahah now im scared D:

  • Oh dear sorry to hear what happened with you. I'm brunette with some highlights and I bought this go blonder shampoo anyway. I loved it. It made my hair really shiny and vibrant and smooth and bouncy. My experience with it has been nothing but good tbh. The allergic reaction could just be a one off?

  • 4:13. Disappearing dog. Awkward. Hahaha.

  • ohhh my god i got the same problem i think i became worse i can tell u that my skin breakout badly with some blood :(

  • Psoriasis is a genetic skin disease/disorder. While the John Frieda product could have caused the outbreak, it didn't cause the psoriasis. If it actually was psoriasis, you were born with it. Once psoriasis has been "activated" (only word that made sense), it has more outbreaks at most every few months with many causes, including allergy season, stress, improper care of the body, and et cetera.

  • your hair doest look that bad

  • oh my gosh! def. NOT trying these products. thank you for the warning!

  • i used a shampoo and conditioner from John Frieda for brunettes and the same thing happened to me. like behind my ears and on the back of my neck. i thought maybe my clothes were rubbing against it or something but then i changed shampoos and conditioners and it went away from behind my ear but its still behind my neck. but its alot better now. i was upset with it because i loved how it made my hair soft but now im not comfortable pulling my hair up in a bun and i love having my hair up.

  • great review! i've been using this product for a week now, it made my hair a bit lighter but my sheets had the same stain, i went to bed with wet hair and my bed sheets bleached also, thanks for the review!!(:

  • yes.. my ears starteds loosing its skin too!!

  • I used this stuff quite a while back, and it made my hair really brassy, so that sucked. Also, and more importantly, I dealt with EXTREME scalp issues for months after discontinuing use of this product. Like, my scalp would peel off in huge, scaly chunks. I didn't go to the doctor at the time because I was fresh out of college and without a job AND health insurance, hence why I figured this would be a cheap way to lighten my hair. HUGE mistake. It was extremely painful and gross!!

  • You could have sued. . .

  • oh crap i just bought those yikeees

  • I used it one time and my hair turned orange! My scalp was very itchy for a week. I do not recomand it to anyone!

  • @Strawberry9889 That also happened to me as well!

  • I saw a commercial of this on Monday and was planning to go buy it this weekend, noww not so much. Thank Youu for posting this! :)

  • It could of been all of the sulfates in that product. I had a bad reaction to some pantene shampoo, i switched to a different sulfate free shampoo and my scalp IMMEDIATLY felt better afterwards.

  • I bought my sister that and she's used it for about four weeks and hasn't had a problem at all. o.O

  • I used this over the summer and it worked fine for me

  • I bought this product. I didn't have a reaction on my skin like you did, but because of this product my hair became orange/ red and not blond AT ALL. I had to dye it. I was so angry! I really do not recomand it. Absolutly shit.

  • well it's good to hear a review for not working out products! as most of the people here endorse products, which have been sent to them free of charge! So it is very refreshing to hear some truth about cosmetics products - industry, which is so badly regulated! However, Hun, I think I have a bad news for you - Psoriasis is a genetic disease, which you probably have disposition to and it was probably triggered by this product...:( bad luck...hm...get better soon! this is a tough one to get rid off

  • i just bought this...

  • Oh my god I was about to go and get it for my sister I'm so glad I stopped by your video before ! Thank you so much for sharing and I hope it will prevent other people from getting hurt !

  • i think the john freida company needs to recommend a skin patch test on the back of the bottle, because if it is believed to lighten or change the color of human hair it isn't surprising that it damaged skin! i am aprofessional hairdresser and i strongly believe in skin patch testing an hair strand testing on individuals especially if they've never applied any chemicals before............thank you for sharing this video!

  • .O I Have tht product in my closed o.O ima throw it in da Bin :v btw: Cute dog i was watching it lickingt its paws then it walked away on da bed then came bak and then POOF it dissapered o.O

  • OMG!! I'm so glad you made this video because the same thing happened to me! I have a horrible red rash on my shoulders and the mark still wont go away.. thank you for telling me what product to use to help the redness, ill try taht

  • OMG I am so glad I watched this video!! I use the John Frieda Blonde products off and on. My issue is I've had these mysterious "bleach stains" on my towels, sheets, wash clothes and even clothes and I’ve had NO IDEA where it was coming from. Thank you for posting this- time to clean out my shower cabinet that is for sure

  • OMG I am so glad I watched this video!! I use the John Frieda Blonde products off and on. • the product had too much bleach then o.o skin exposure creates the burn since it sorta is a burn

  • @NikkieleeTorres i agree :)

  • @NikkieleeTorred i agree :)

  • The product sucks

  • did you ckeck the validity of the product?

you better check when it's gift :P

  • I used this and it burnt my scalp and seriously made my hair fall out!!! dont ever buy itttt!!!!

  • maybe its not the product, maybe your just alergic to something....??

  • All the sudden there's this dog!

  • :O

  • oh my god that is seriously scary!!! I would expect that the company would do everything in the world to compensate for your misery - at least that's what a decent company would do. Evidently John Frieda is not one of those.

Sorry you had to go through all that.

  • I just bought this stuff before watching this video. And I used it ONCE and it already gave me an itchy rash all over my neck and around my forehead. Horrible. :(

  • well my friend has used it scince she was like 12 and she has beautifull long blonde gorgeouse hair soooo i think it wasnt because of the product n i use the same shampoo but for brunettes..but what happened to you sucks:/

  • HAHA I LOVE YOUR DOG :P

  • I almost bought this today! Thank god for your review! Thankyou so much!!

  • Thanks for the warning. I was going to use it but wanted to research it because I have had problems with some hair color and got Dermatitus which looks like what is on the back of your neck.

I also found reviews about the Go Blonder spray that it dries out your hair. You've done a great public service.

  • I love how the dog just randomly appears on the bed at 2:53

  • Used a black towel just to test it. I did not see anything on the towel. However I did use my Garnier Fructis Color Shield Shampoo and Conditioner after using the Go Blonder so that could have affected it.
