Omg you people are idiots. If you knew a LITTLE about game design, you would know it's just a reflected texture image! It saves the programmers time and effort! If this is the case, then almost EVERY game have thousands of faces! A FACE EASTER EGG would be the face on the Ring on Containment in Halo 2 and the moon on Standoff on Halo 3. It's not Jesus OR Satan. It's a friggin rock.
The first rock, to me, looks like a man and a girl face to face...lips upon lips.... but then I saw Jesus' beard. The second one was kind of scary too.
i RLY prefer halo 3 to all the others and i know it's the most common thing to say but i do. but halo 1 is still much better than halo 2 (not for graphics)
then again halo 1 must have been RLY good for a 2001 game!
halo is so much funner than any other halo out, yeh the graphics are crapper but its not always about the graphics... For instance, the 2x scope on the magnum. and the fact that you get first person in the passenger.

It's not faces. Textures are two sided so they can cover both sides of the rock without using much HDD space. That's just a texture that happens to look like... erm... Jesus

All it is is a texture that is flipped to cover two different surfaces. The brain is always looking for things that resemble faces, so when you see two dots and a ring, you instinctively think "ZOMG! Faisez!".
