I really like their early sound (a la "Strawberry Wine" and "Ecstasy" EPs). Their hard to find, and usually a little pricey.

Strawberry wine was only limited, so I bet about 1000 copies exist right now? Anyone in their right mind wouldn't get rid of them. Ecstacy, however, did alright in the charts...so you could get a copy.

Not on 'Isn't anything'. Personally I'd recommend looking up 'Honey power', 'Slow', 'Loomer' and 'lose my breath' if you haven't already. Plus, I like their quiet vocals.

Wouldn't it be great if they played some "Ecstasy And Wine" songs like this one again ? I think a lot of songs from this album are still worth listening to and aged well. Plus it was the first album featuring the band in its permanent line-up.

@julosx agreed. of course "Loveless" is a different sort of project (less song focused) but yeah as far as pure pop glory, the early stuff takes the cake. But the ambient ethereal stuff does have its charms
