  • i think changing the memorial flight is a bit disrespectful, its meant to be a fixed symbol not something to toy with and adapt

  • the moment someone mentions the battle of britain, the spitfire comes to mind, but many people dont realise that it was teh hawker hurricane that made up the bulk of the british ariel fighting force. but thanks for the great vid, the sight of a lancaster realy brings up a sence of pride in our little island, that resists all enemy.

  • Nice video propfan2k!!

  • @chrysanthos66 and a little bandit in there too lol

  • looking forward to re-make of Dambusters film

-if it has not been abandoned?

-these great aircraft flying at 50 feet, to drop bouncing bombs

-seen Keiper's "star wars" version-sick and disrespectful despite its plaudits, as 49 very brave airmen died in real dam attacks

-nobody died in his claver little star wars version

  • Lancaster was really a fucking big, air giant at that period ! Or i may say it were a A380 in war times!!? i just wonder how much fuel was needed to ignite 4 engines at a time ! Really a consumption monster... let me find a scale-model to build... (from Revell only? ) after finishing my first Spitfire, Messerschmit, and the remote-plane build-up, then i will build it ASAP, and i'll show it here !! :))

  • the DEFENDERS of the world 70 years ago!

  • man that would have been awsome! i seen and been inside the Lancaster i seen the spitfire and deemed it the best sounding Engine ever imagined i also saw the rare Firefly (a slight branch of the spitfire family) but i never seen the Hawker Hurricane or the BF-109....that'd be a sight to behold, and hold it dear my friend for you will prolly never forget it ......hold on....Canada?! its possible! i may see this someday! and that means i was in "THAT" lancaster ^_^ beautiful plane she is.

  • @Sumer61 Go to Hamilton, Ont. It flies several times a week there, and you can pay to get a flight in it.

  • Now THAT's the sound of glory!

  • That's a pretty impressive formation

  • My granfather Ray Martindale flew a Lancaster in WWII and used to volunteer at CWHM

  • so sad only 2 Lancs. still flying-can't we find and dig up a few more and restore them?

-Looking forward to new "Dambusters" movie, out next year?

  • @darkmossie633 There's another Lanc called "Just Jane" that is in a taxible condition that they are hopping to make airworthy are some point.

  • @TopGunSGA -that is great news!

    -where is this Lanc?

  • @darkmossie633 Just Jane is based at the Lincolnshire Aviation Heritage Centre
