How well does this one play with distortion? Is it comparable to the EVH in that requard?

If I think about it for a while, I guess the EVH is a bit better for that Van Halen type of sound.

How does the Retro Sonic compare with the MXR's? I love the fact that it has a blend knob. Some people say that the Retro is sterile compared to the classic Script 90. I just bought my first PHASER, a Whirlwind Orange Box and I love it! Would be nice to be able to control the blend though. I enjoyed your video very much! Great job John!!

Thanks for you comment. In my opinion, the best MXR phaser is the EVH. It simply sounds fantastic. Now, the Retro-Sonic is far superior tonewise and much more versatile. In mi opinion, the Retro-Sonic Phaser is probably the best classic phaser on the market. =)

Thank you for the nice video. This is the phaser pedal that I'm most interested in. Had problems with the EVH phaser (3 that did not work at all).
