Hopefully one of these days you'll find a 1st generation plastic bladed Lakewood box fan of some kind to add to your vast collection of Lakewoods. I'm lucky I got one such fan to start with myself. Oh yes, I LOVE Lakewood. I watched your video. I have found one, there's one exactly like yours near the window of an office supply place near my Habitat Restore. I've been trying to get in there to ask if they'd like a "nice and better" new fan in exchange for that one.
Yeah! I guess that's one way to get a good vintage fan, ask if they'd like (as John Brown/christhefanman would say) a high quality new (or brace bladed) fan for their poor quality vintage fan! LOL

I agree. I bought it just for the sake of it being a Lakewood. (And $2 isn't bad) It rather surprised me in performance.
