dunno why but most of the BoF endings are kinda "meh". the whole story is simple, yet great. but the endings...I think they could be better, specially the 4th one.
@unluckyred13 Peco is apart of Yggdrasil (ig dra sill) ...that Ancient tree of wisdom. Pecorus returned to the earth and with him planting himself there, it stands to reason that the desert will become a lush forest bringing back life to that part of the world... That's the way I see it anyway. Something like that, it comes down to each players interpretation of the events, plot, and details in each game. Also, some games can easily be extremely vague in the endings meaning.
I remember beating this game on accident. My party was level 40 (Ryu, Rei, and Peco). I went to the end of the game just to get a preview of the final boss, running from every encounter, and I killed Myria on a fluke. But seeing you do it at level 30 and below, maybe I wasn't so lucky after all. ;P
@Worenx in bof 1 the first nina had a red dress, then she was sucked in a time vortex and was sent into the future, then in winlan you see another nina in a blue dress who came back from the future through a time vortex again, or wasnt that the answer u were looking for? :)

Dude I loved this game as a kid...my only ciomplain is that the central story took too long to be picked up.
Also when I first saw BOF4 I thought it was a sequel of this, because it it starts with Nina and that Woren dude that looks like Rei in the desert

The red dress is her original concept design. I have no idea why it was changed in the game, but it definitely was NOT a better one in my opinion...

@Worenx oh maybe this is the correct answer, when winlan was attacked she decides to be stronger? :D
