@ MaBu888: Let 's get something straight; Religion= a handicapped notion of God + a blind conviction of infallibility x the number of stupid individuals.
Spirituality= an attempt of humans to attach meaning to their life.
God= the incomprehensible perfection of the Universe, Source of all material, non-material and supramaterial.
No, as all that is contains the concept of the infinite One, and that One is in ALL forms. No narcissism, at least not when none is created. Conscious mind and mental logic are limited, while Higher Mind doesn't self limit so.
You are also a One (whole is another word to use), therefore narcissism has been previously neglected. Non sequit in mentem sed alto sequit. Remember which one was higher on the hierarchy 'towards' light? 1st red, 2nd orange, 3rd yellow, 4th green, 5th blue, 6th indigo, 7th violet. Immanent and transcendent are extremist poles WITHIN A WHOLE CENTER. 'There' are all forms. Sunt formae omnes, defraudare solum suis posse.
The conscious mind is on the yellow level, but it can be integrated with knowledge from the higher levels. This is possible only through 'penetrating' to the next level, the heartmind of green. Blue's wisdom watches and guide semper viliganter.
maybe just jibba jabba about God and us? better watch out for catholic answers and the orthodox. they are now on to father tom keating and centering prayer. maybe to much budda and not enough Jesus!
You're here too? I'm personally not orthodox or catholic. But yeah like I said before, too much buddha. I want to say here, that I have respect for religions. There is a lot of good in Buddhism, and perhaps thats why Keating is so into it and mixing it in Christianity. However, I don't take Buddhism as my religion, nor to I take its doctrines or beliefs as my own goals to reach, or follow. I am a Christian, I follow Christ. Not buddha.

Well, I am willing to agree with your definitions. I am a One who has a lot of perspectives, is one of the few things I am certain about.

Aren 't you being a bit narcissistic? Apart from writing a half non sequitur comment?

This is a wonderful synopsis of what is euphemistically characterized as "The way is simple but not easy. . ."
