I don't know exactly how old are they - I took them as "almost grown" animals from very bad life conditions in one pet shop. And they also didn't know their age. But according to estimation of shop assistant and the vet they could be about three years old.
And "how long" is Sabi? Do you mean how far she can reach? (The body lenght?)
Oh, thanks! The tank is small for two of them, but at least they have everything they need in it - the island and sloping ramp, the vase with sand, shelter for both of them, plants which they can destroy and bubbles especially for Samuel.
The lenght of Sabi's carapax is 9,5 cm (1/10 2008), but her neck is about 7 cm long (when it's pulled out) and she is always standing on her hinders, so she is able to reach much further (something about 20 cm).
Hm, maybe it could work - I watched your video and saw the tank. You have a lot of space in it. All you need is some sunk platform - you don't have to put any big high rock on the bottom - you can hang something on the edge of the tank. The turtles could reach the feed from it.
yeah, destroy the mouth of your turtle
