My parents have my dads original Technics SL-1600 turntable from like 1975 that my grandparents bought him. Its a total classic, he bought me my SL-1200s to DJ with, theyre so similar. So they play this song all the time when they take out their old 45's. After hearing it so much I love it. The guitar part is amazing, when I hear those notes it makes me feel like I'm flying over a mountain just totally free. I like oldies
it's so ironic that kids are saying that their grandma or grandpa loved this music-it's just happened so fast...one minute I'm looking for a ride to go dancing; now I'm a great-grandmother. Listening to all these amazing tunes ....you all should sneak over to listen to Clarence Carters' 'Stroking'.
The glass on my jukebox had a large crack in it and it was in poor shape. So I replaced it with a brand piece of glass. I sort of like it like that because this allows me to see the record play. Of course for the jukebox purist this would be a no no. But I like to see the record play and a lot of people liked what I did. So I am glad you enjoyed it.
i flippin <3 this song for some reason. im 13 and whenever im with my grandpa, he listen to these kind of songs and i end up falling in love with them. before the song starts, he explain what its about and makes me thiank and apprieciate life more and more...ily<3
@Natalies90210 13yo wise beyond your years. treasure the time with your grandfather. i miss mine. im 34yo now he died in 01. music that BOTH of you like makes for great conversation. you cna always ask him what he likes and why, and listen to it
New Germany, Nova Scotia, Canada. my DS100 needs a lot of work. its been abused. The speakers have completely deteriorated, the wirering is rotten, a lot of the tubes have blown or been broken. and the coin machine if in hard shape. All in all the machine is fit for the trash but im not going to let that happen. Th ol' girl will see lory again if i have anything to do with it!
WOW! Takes me back to those dives where I wondered how i got home afterward and why I wasn't killed.

I like it with the replaced glass. It looks better then the original one with graphics and you can see more of the mech.

When I was wearing my $1 headphones I thought "hey this sounds nice"
Then I put on my better headphones (cover the whole ear) and was like "Wow...that's REALLY nice. Like Jasonlava said, awesome bass.
