Lisa McPherson was laundering money for the crime syndicate, perhaps one of the reasons why the violently insane criminal Mike Rinder fled eventually. A Scientololgy crime syndicate business Lisa was working for was smuggleing in precious metals, paying Lisa about a quarter of a million dollars a year which she then laundered by giving to the crime syndicate for "courses" and other frauds.
