I don't know what the hell is going on with disneyland but their fantasmic show sucks, i went last saturday and they made countless mistakes as well. the new dragon didn't show up, jet ski's flotsam and jetsam never made an appearance, the ending was a total wreck because they didn't lower mickey in time to create the illusion that he was to disappear from the top and reappear on the stage. i kept looking over at the control people who seemed agitated, i think disney needs to hire new employees.
@H0Tcheetoqueen well I was there in July and everything went 100% fine. So saying it "sucks" isn't really true. But you have to consider, how many elements are there to the show? There's at least 3 computers controlling the show, over 100 performers, and with Murphy you have a complex audio animatronic with more than a few moving parts. Things WILL go wrong, nothing is perfect. Saying the show sucks based on one imperfect show isn't a valid argument.
the good thing is they didn't cancel the show they didn't care if the progections weren't working they all stayed in charecter and kept the magic alive GREAT JOB DISNEY!
Something similar happened to me a couple of nights ago - after they brought Pinocchio up, he did a little dance but him and the other dancing girls got out of sync. Then when it was time for Pinocchio to go away, he got stuck and wouldn't go below stage. Shortly afterward the show was cancelled... I stayed for the next show, and there was no Pinocchio at all :P
You can't see the woman-in-black in this video, but I definitely remember seeing her that night. She was standing just to the left of the shed (stage right, house left). Kinda creeped me out.
Oh wow, somebody got this on video. Yeah, it was July 20th, 2 days before my brother and I drove to San Diego for Comic-Con. The "technical difficulties" announcement was actually made a full 10 minutes after the lights came up. That's what pissed me off the most.
@musicalFREAK87 i went last year around the same time and they had a simular problem... there was a person in black on the island talking on a headset to someone and about 2 mins later the screen in the front showed up

k we all know it's the queen and not maleficent, but does she even have another name? but anyway, of all the times I've been to Disneyland (wich are A LOT) I've never seen that happen! I've only seen it temporarily delayed due to "technical dificulties" °o°

Maybe that new dragon's cursed! Nothing's been going quite right ever since it appeared...
Idk I think they'll get everything smoothed out eventually. I mean, look at the history of Disneyland's opening: the first day held more snafus and mishaps than any in the park's history and it was broadcast on then live TV! Yet, 6 weeks later, the 1,000,000th Guest walked in!
Don't worry, things will be back to normal before we know it!
lol, they have screwed fantasmic up a couple a times. two times ive been there and they had to restart it.lol. u must live close to me cause i love by disneyland also.

yeah, I don't think so. Both shows have glitches/errors - that is bound to happen with a show of this magnitude.
DHS's version has had similar occurrences and most of them are on youtube if you care to look them up.
