There is no excuse that nz played their second string team, there is no such thing as second string when it comes to representing the country. There is such a thing though as excuses.....it only happens when a team loses funny enough. Fiji won fair and square and it should send messages to the bigger nations that pay their players to play to never underestimate the smaller nations in the world of football. They only play for pride!

You have got to remember that New Zealand had already secured a place in the play-offs at this point, so they probaly played a very weakened side..

still New Zealand should of won easily though, shame on them, in my opinion they are the worst team to ever qualifiy for the world cup, and if qualifiying is not changed expect to see them again in four years when they dominate there pacific group and get a playoff

I am of mixed blood and see myself as Fijian or Fijian (indian) because culturally we have a bit of influence of what our ancestors retained for us from 130 yrs of slavery.
