Mission result? Skin of Loch Ness monster, real or otherwise, completely blasted from its lifeless body. Is this an example of Troy and Phones' fearless world-defending? Who does Stingray actually work for?
The sculpt on Troy's face is... interesting. At all times he seems to wear the expression of a man who just farted but isn't quite sure his co-workers are bothered by the smell or not and is now wondering if he can continue to get away with it in the future.
@Torowe1 I had a toy stingray which ran on batteries which had a cord running to a control box so I could drive it on land ofcourse.. Kinda like a remote control car.
@Torowe1 Well if it had been real Stingray would have killed the loch ness monster, the only one of it's kind. Tho the MacGregors claim they've just allowed it to be glimpsed I guess Denver was a one off.
Hahaha bloody Americans they encounter something they don't understand and whadda they do? Why they try to blow it the f***k up,f****ing xenophobic bastards
@philstoneiii This is an example of cold war-era baby-boomer kids' shows. We'd sit in front of the b&w TV watching this and other Gerry Anderson programs, while the enemy - human or otherwise - would get blasted.
Just the times...we lived our lives in constant fear back then. Soviet Communism was the evil nemesis that was lurking to take us all away from our freedom, and nuclear fallout was in constant threat of falling on our heads. I think parents wanted us to know we were protected.
A precursor to a Lupin the 3rd ep with a similar Loch Ness monster.

Destroying unknown species is still very common in anime. Japanese animation doesn't have the problems with censorship Warners and Disney have.

4: 56 --- Atlanta: "Well don't decide now Troy. Think about it on our way home." In other words: keep their secret, and I'll give you a blowjob.

Love that, they send them all the way to Scotland and they come back with a 'we think we saw it' and that's good enough.

They were all prepared to destroy an unknown species, the difference between a show in the 60's and now.

@philstoneiii Well it was just a few years before Star Trek, in which they usually tried to communicate with "monsters."
