You should ride your vino down the old road " Prospect Road". Before the parkway came through there was/is a road on the front of the mountian. It's closed down to vehicals and set abandoned for years but you can get a bike on it no problem at all. I took my vulcan 900 down it last week, even stopped at the old ticket booth. If you don't know where it is I can show you some day, I'm local from vinton, just drop me a email.
