  • ummm...soo...brakes?

  • BUHAHAH WOW WAT A IDOT....I GOT MORE MODS THEN HIM AND HE ACTUALY MAKES A VIDEO TRY 2 EXPLAIN A REVO RACER WOW UR NERD U FAIL..

  • Hey how does the 2 speed work with the brushless.

  • i need to know if anyone knows were i can get some tuff drive shafts for my brushless e revo 1/10 scale i tried the Integy evo 5's and there designed for the 3.3 revo which i was told that it would fit and it didn't HELP PLEASE i'm tired of snaping the stock plastic one's ever time i go out and yes i tried the traxxas cvd they lasted about 2 weeks

  • @joeowen50 there are lots of steel driveshafts at rc4wd.com and you should check there to see if anything works

  • Is this car a truggy or a monster truck?

I love it but it's too expensive for my taste.

  • @SCRTpilot You could say it's both.

  • are those tires for onroad or offroad racing

  • Year dude! now to just need to reinstall the nitro components! Dude electric is nice but nitro is even nicer!

  • how that esc and motor handle after all this time?

  • I was wondering, if you have your batteries hooked up to the car, does it waste the battery's juice if you turn on the evx 2 leaving it at throttle, since you have to put on the body and clips?

  • @mindthoughts1974...the novak was on my to buy list for my converted 3.3 but now i'm re considering it.

  • what tires and wheels and sizes do you have?

  • when I was catching the novak speed control on fire and spinning the rotors on the novak 1/8th scale motors, I was only running the four cell battery packs. Orian. Now I run six cell, two three cells by thunder power. there 50c new ones. and with the mamba monster esc and 2200kv motor. no problems. This note is in response to the author of this video asking how many volts I was running in the Novak system. anyone that ran novak in 1/8th scale eventual had a major melfunction, or fire.

  • doesnt erevo have twim motor?

    why does ithis have one

  • this isnt THE traxxas erevo. this is a tekno rc converted revo 3.3.

  • i think u get chois, two smaller brushed motors, or one bid brushless one, IDK man, i have 1/16 e revo

  • Why would you put a novak in a revo that's built for racing? I raced novak in my erevo and the speed control always cought on fire and the motor spun the rotor, about fifteen times over the course of several months racing at ocrc in huntington beach. don't get me wronge, Novak always replaced it free of charge, but anyone running the High Voltage Novak, that races, knows those systems just are not ready yet. The Brushless erevo comes with the momba monster by castle. Bulletproof, Period.

  • damn what voltage were you running?

  • Good job!

  • you must have mamba monster

  • Novak just can't do the job. I bought a momba monster and put it in my erevo, think kicks freeken ass. the novak just spun the rotor from the magnet and speed control cought on fire several times. it's just comon with novak.

  • does anybody use that chassis on a slayer? want to know if the extened version is same as slayer chassis

  • Yes you can, the slayer itself is just a revo 2.5 chassis with a revo 3.3 motor, and shorter suspension arms.

  • im pretty sure even though they look the same the revo chassis is a little longer. which is why revo converted to slayer looks funny because the body doesnt fit right

  • I never said it would look good......

  • lol

  • an extended slayer? good luck finding a body for that. the slayer uses the 2.5 chassis.

  • where do u get that body

  • the e revo brushless edition with 11.1 3S lipo X2 would destroy that bodge job!

  • hey guys! ty

  • What Magazine for the whole article

  • only 3s? my cousine's 5.5 on 4s can just beat my vxl rustler on 2s

  • should've done your research before building your "race/durable" revo.

  • No with the tekno conversion it requires mechanical brakes. So using the clutch, there is no way to brake with the motor... It was supposed to help keep the amp draw and spikes down... And temperatures.

  • i know your comments old, but i was wondering the same thing. i have the same thing going as this guy but i have the mech. brake. just havent run it yet, waiting for my lipos.

  • Actually this truck does have a clutch... I gotta ask man... Where are the brakes!!!??? The tekno conversion requires mechanical brakes and oyurs well... Aren't there...

  • the engine is the brakes.......I think.....

  • the traxxas sway bars suck they give to much sway

  • your comments kinda old but HUH? how do you add sway to an rc?

  • This is not only a Race truck wtf?

  • get a nitro noob

  • go clean your car, re- fuel it, cahrge the RX pack, tune it, re-build it and spend half hour starting stopping it to tune it...i'll just go out and beat you by plugging in a battery!

  • lmao same here.

  • @pedekiller

    WRONG !

It takes next to no skill to tune a mill .

Ill have my mill pre-heat, tuned up and ready to go before your done hooking one batt up =P

  • @burtonkidd oh right...so warming up your $500 motor takes about 10 seconds does it?

have fun buying new motors every month.

i race nitro's too and the general warmup time i run on my GO and Novarossi motors is at least 1 min.

also, you didnt take into account all the cleaning you have to do afterwards.

    now who's WRONG!!??

  • @pedekiller

Yeah my heat gun goes from 0C (32F) to 80C (176F) in about 8 seconds.

Mill only needs to be 160F ish for pre=heat. That way there is less strain on the piston, and it will fire in 1 pull. and if your LSN is set from a previous run all you have to tune is the HSN.

and have you heard of WD40??

Spray it on the block and the tvp's and the oil from the nitro will run right off. Spray it on the bottom of the chassis and the mud will run right off.

  • @burtonkidd 8 seconds...right so the engine block has to catch up in that time? NOT the cooling head maby but it'll take a while for that heat gun's heat to penetrate the block and the liner/piston. dont get me wrong, nitro is great, however....i just like being right LOL

  • youre calling him a noob? I bet that revo would rock every car that you own offroad

  • xept e revo

  • huh?

  • nothing

  • kinda old but he's a noob? not likely.

  • OMG this E-Revo is Crazy

  • how about a brushless losi 8T

  • ok y wouldent u use a 4s it could be going like 70mph

  • Its a race truck. Not a top speed truck. Top speed seen on most tracks don't exceed 40MPH tops. Track racing is more about driving skill than top speed.

  • yes!

  • I'd get at least a 5S pack and go with a motor with lower kV for longer runtimes!

  • @goastdoggg and handling

  • old comment buy, this is a race truck...any REAL racer knows that 70mph is useless on a track.

  • and why do you have a clutch your just draning on acllration

  • Theres no clutch. Its an adapter for electric motors so they can use the larger pinions needed for nitro trucks.

  • leve nitro nitro and eletric eletric ok jezz

  • since when was 3s high voltage? lol should be interesting to see it go though, looks like itll be super light and so not need that much power...

  • Who was the fit bird, Im more interested in her than the truck....

  • A real race kit is from Bomb-Proof Products and Mr. C conversions.

  • Those are Pro-Line Bow-Tie MTR and Crime Fighter MTR tires in the 1/2" offset

  • what tires and rims please tell!

  • Let's see it run!!!

  • yea
