Anyhoo, the authorities follow regular procedures to deal with them. They don't set them free, but instead deport them. Also, they don't need to admit where they are from as most places have people who are able to recognise which country the person is able to come from (though I can't quite remember what that job title was).

tomika, calm down.. Many countries have problems with illegal immigration, from India to America. However, the massive problem facing the UK is legal immigration, from continental Europe. Speaking as someone who recently applied for a work visa in the UK(and getting one), it is an incredibly difficult process to go through, and increasingly so. Correct me if i am wrong, but the vast majority of immigrants in the last 10years have been legal ones.

Apologies for the late reply, I got caught up with something.
Anyhoo, the authorities follow regular procedures to deal with them. They don't set them free, but instead deport them. Also, they don't need to admit where they are from as most places have people who are able to recognise which country the person is able to come from (though I can't quite remember what that job title was).

I wasn't impressed one bit by this woman. I thought the show QT was a disgrace. If you are going to bring somebody controversial on you should still treat them with respect.
A lot of people voted for Nick Griffin but he was basically verbally attacked on national TV. It was a very select audience and panel, and was set up to humiliate him from the off set.
I never voted for the BNP, but I do think they should be given an equal chance!

It *has* gone wrong. I was appalled by her using the program for party politics, calling Jack Straw a liar. Unwise to say the least.
Griffin was constantly interrupted where he should have been burned on content alone. I thought it was a mistake of historic proportions to let him onto QT in the 1st place but since he was there, it was a bad idea to sit him down in an utterly hostile crowd on his own. Now, he's seen as the underdog, no content needed. It was dangerously stupid.

Economically speaking, I don't think Nick Griffin realises the extent to which he would shoot this country in the foot if he got into power and adopted a "british first" policy for the workforce. Surely it's better for employment to be given to those capable of carrying out the work to the best standard? 'Automatic' jobs for 'British' people would foster a lower standard of care in the workforce as a result of the inevitable complacency that it will bring.

QT was too biased on Thursday, which was extremely dissapointing. If the BBc had actually given him, his 'fair' programme and talked about current issues (like the postal strike), andf other more general policies for all of the panelists to answer, then it would have been more balanced.
I'm anti-BNP, don't get me wrong, but having a show that is supposed to be nuetral, atack the BNP, only gave him more to moan about, Griffin will be in more papers, with more support, thanks to the BBC...
