  • #Werk!

  • Lol funny

  • I so admire this. My cousin has otisim and I have started learning sign language for him. He is just like us and I really <3 him

  • OMG THE OFFICIAL WAY TO TUT!!!

  • whats the sign for 0:42 ?(:

  • how do we know you're not just standing there flopping your hands randomly?

  • @Collinffs How do we know you're not just typing random letters, or just flopping your jaw around?

  • @jjwardrip Cus you could read my comment? I don't know about the flopping jaw thing. Are you deaf? In which case you don't.

  • @Collinffs you're so flippin ignorant -___-

  • @ItstartedwithdoubT You're so stupid.

  • @Collinffs nice comeback my friend, but I'm not the one with the ignorant comment that only a moronic person would make :)

  • @ItstartedwithdoubT Actually that's exactly what you are. Asking if she's doing it properly or just goofing around is a valid question, since i have no idea of knowing. And assuming that i would understand your little hand signals just because you do is ignorant, narrow minded and plain stupid, so please be quite before you humiliate yourself further.

  • @Collinffs why would I humiliate myself :) how was I supposed to know you weren't being sarcastic narrow-minded jerk?

  • @ItstartedwithdoubT You couldn't have known. But you shouldn't cuss people out based on something like what i wrote. Unless I literally call her a fake bitch or something, why bother getting worked up over something that may not even be meant in a bad way?

  • excellent job! sign choices for this song were spot on.

  • you are an amazing signer your so animated and your facial expressions are amazing

    \lml

  • wow her signs are amazing!

  • Totally amazing! Loved watching you...I've got a long way to go to be as good as you interpreting songs~ Keep up the great work!

  • I'm curious, do you write a gloss for the songs you do or do you just do it till it's right?

  • Wow that was brilliant...

  • i love you.

  • "who doesn't love a talented Brit"---- deaf people stupid

  • @smoshismylife0

Birth name Adele Laurie Blue Adkins

    Born 5 May 1988 (age 23)

    Tottenham, North London,

    England, UK

  • Lol I finally understand what Adele mean when she said I have no story to be told lol

  • I love watching your videos. I am deaf and have trouble finding good interpretations of songs. Thanks they are best.

  • You sign so beautifully; love your facial expressions and I love the puppet metaphor =D

  • Bravo

  • great job! I put it on face book!

  • i love this it's sooooooooooooo awesome my mom is a siggn language interpreter as wel as my dad and so i know a pretty good amount of sign language but i am nowhere near how good u are because the way u are actually interpreting the song instead of just word for word is reallly awesome and i'm still trying to do that =)

  • marry me your gorgeous

  • I love how fluent you are!

  • Oh my gosh. I can't stop watching this video. Its so beautiful. Very good job!

  • So, I'm deaf, but I don't know how to sign. I grew up wearing cochlear implants, so I know how to listen and speak. I love the expression you use when you sign the song.

I started an organization around my school called Listen Hear to raise awareness about hearing loss, and we were planning to have a Day for the Deaf and do an ASL Flash Mob. Your videos have given us so many ideas!

Just one question: do you interpret the song or do you translate it by the words?

  • even though i reallly didnt understand alot because im still in asl1 i found this video amazing <3

  • @baddbabe409 Don't worry, it's more about the expression than the words

  • you are so amazing!! I loved watching this video, your facial expressions and signs are perfect!

  • Very. Very. Very, well played. I've often considered signing along to some Muse, Franz Ferdinand, and possibly some Cake songs I know, but never really got around to it. After seeing how easy you made it look, CHALLENGE ACCEPTED. Probably won't happen for another month or two, but WHATEVER. So, grazie, and please, continue.

  • I love how expressive and into the song you are.

    It's so amazing I just can't stop watching!! =D

  • Hi- Im in ASL 3 in school. Our class is doing a whole project dedicated to you. We need to learn your songs. Do you think you could attach a gloss of this song??

  • i'm ten years old and a girl with a deaf cousin and i've only been learning sign language for like 5 to 6 months.and i can almost do this fluently.AMERICAN SIGN LANGUAGE IS A WONDERFUL AND I MEAN WONDERFUL THING!!:)

  • Sorry Not Britt , Kim

  • @Brit where ya from? Are you in an ITP?

  • Comment removed

  • Is This ASL or Interpretation?

  • @TiffanyMarie2010

Classifiers. It's telling more of the song with emotion and action. More like "retelling.." some Sign Language is in there, but it's all classifiers. Classifiers help describe something.

  • @TiffanyMarie2010 this is ASL. Most other sign language songs on youtube are not ASL; they are straight english translations which show a greater resemblance to BSL. This is ASL

  • Loving it!!!! :D

  • you're amazing.

  • @youztrollin thats what I thought! Thanks so much!

  • Does anybody happen to know the sign at 44 seconds?? Please, its bugging me!!!

  • @signergurl93 i think its like around and around over and over again like reminding you over and over ^_^ that was my interpretation

  • @signergurl93 It's "staying awake all night". As in "I used to lie awake all night thinking of what could've been." In the context of the song of course.

  • Amazing! I was wondering if you could sign Marvin's Room by JoJo I really want to perform it for my final exam but I don't even know where to start!!

  • I just wanted to say thank you! I have never understood the meaning of her songs before... but now I can. I am so thankful for someone actually interpreting the meanings, rather than just going word for word!! Thank you! For a Deaf individual, I still love music, but there are so many songs that I don't actually understand, with your interpretation, I can. Thank you!

  • @ash345a88 My husband is deaf. and for him its been a struggle to understand music. I am hearing. And i love music. I am always singing and playing. and i have had a hard time sometimes to explain the meaning of songs to him. I am thankful for people like her who can do the meaning. not just word for word so that the deaf community can understand them as well.

  • @ash345a88 Hell, I'm hearing and I have no idea what Adele is singing about... So, props to this girl for finding some meaning in the song. (And yes, I know enough sign that I understood her for the most part)

  • You are really good and your signing is clear! for someone who is deaf or have hearing impaired can read you and understand the story or message! =D are you going to do more?

  • omg girl you are amazing i just uploaded my first video i must give credit where credit is due... keep on signing

  • @Msestherlester Yes it does. :)

  • @unoiamacutie Ahh thats cool:)

  • Does ASL stand for american sighn langugh???

  • Love it keep it up you made a new subscriber.YOU ROCK!:)

  • i so like your expressions and guess what I SUBSCRIBED :)

  • I love it when I see a song in ASL (true ASL) that makes me understand the meaning even better than when I hear it in English. :) Great job! You obviously put a lot of thought into getting the concept across in ASL rather than just throwing out signs in English order. Very nice!

  • THIS IS SO FANTASTIC! Will you please put subs up?? :))

  • You are really, really, really, really good. Did you write the gloss yourself? My only critique is that next time, please have a blank background. It's a little distracting :)

  • You make it look like dancing!

  • are you deaf? just wondering

  • I only wish I could look as great as you when I sign music. I know I've got a long way to go in my ASL education, but still. Your facial expressions and interpretations of the song are so amazingly done! I love it! Thanks for sharing your talent with the world, both hearing and Deaf :)

  • Amazing interpretation!!!

  • Wow, tht was really good!! Im partially deaf and I luv ur video, it is one of the best sign language video's out there!!!

  • You remind me of Daphne. SAB.

  • are you actually deaf? you are very impressive you inspired me to learn ASL thank you! Could you try to do a less on learning this song because i want to learn it? Thanks again!

  • hello, I love your song, I would like to know where ASL classes in San Diego?, know of any school?.

  • Are you really deaf???

  • That was awesome!! Love the dress.

  • awesome dint expect to see a signing video on here good job

  • The funny thing is i don't understand ASL...

  • @TheMuggleworld i've been in sign language for 2 full years and i still dont understand whats shes signing, its a language that takes alot of work, it also takes a bit of an acting background enable to get the faces right and to be able to show emotion in your signing. Its hard work and it has taken me half a year just to be able to ask my teacher to go to the bathroom

  • @livingwithbipolar Really? That sounds like a lot of work, wow, keep up the good work then.

  • @TheMuggleworld it is but its fun

  • You just got yourself a new subscriber :D Keep it up, girl!!!

  • can you give me any advice on facial expressions? i know a few words maybe a sentance or two, but i'm having trouble on the expressions that go with them, plaese help, it's veryhard to communicate with my cousion christina. she went deaf when she was three.

  • @jacobsezmennosparkle don't be afraid to look silly. when i first started i kept a blank face cuz i'm just naturally deadpan, but great signers (in my limited experience) put all their emotions onto their face. even if it feels overexaggerated at first, you'll get used to it and learn when and where to use strong facial expressions. hope it helped

  • @MrJeNiais3 thank you:) i'll make sure to practice my facial expressions when i go over what i learned and hope tht i can finally make small talk with christina on video chat. and yes it did help:) o appretiate it:)

  • @MrJeNiais3 it did help. thank you. now maybe i can make small talk with christina on video chat now :) i'll make sure to practice my facial expressions. thank you again, i appretiate it:)

  • @MrJeNiais3 thank you. now maybe i can make small talk with christina on video chat. i apprectiate your help:) and i'll make sure to practice my facial expressions:)

  • and i saw your channel, how come you don't have anyvideos uploaded? if ur stuck on ideas maybe i can help

  • Your emotions are so great! They're expressive and almost seem animated. Its like you're one of the Sims!! :) Great job!

  • I finally found you again! I remember you did Rihanna and Eminem's song (can't remember it right now), and it was amazing. You really understand the concepts that songs try to bring across and the classifiers use use are awesome. You don't really tell the song, you tell the story behind it! Good job!!!! :)

  • A-MAZ-ING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • finally someone with a video of actual american sign language. T^T this is wonderful! great job! :D

  • I just realized I've never left you a comment! I have watched this video that I have almost memorized your terp and often now sign along with the song when I listen to it on my own. I'm hoping to get my masters degree in ASL interpreting and you are truly an inspiration to me. I hope that one day I can sign as naturally and strongly ASL as you. Keep being the best!!

  • please do a tutorial for one of your songs! please! it'd mean a lot!

  • your good

  • I love your style! you make me so happy! Check out my page, I covered her song. I'd love to collaborate with you. I need to update my page and add some ASL songs..I have yet to get started on.LOL..

    Bravo!!!

  • WOW!!! Awesome!!

  • I love the way you interpret. Most songs that convey the meaning in spoken english perfectly, make little sense in straight signing; therefore you are amazing.

  • Simply WOW! Mind blowing .... this goes into my top 5 list - along with A DEAF DUDE's terps ;-) You are incredible - PLEASE keep doing this, keep terping, keep bridging the gap between the cultures, while opening doors and minds .... LOVE the way it appears you've "sped up" the vid to get all the concepts in there - or maybe it's just me not seeing it correctly :-J VERY IMPRESSIVE! 5 stars, all the way.... PEACE...

  • I said it before, Ill say it again. YOU SIMPLY ROCK !!!... I'm used to females interpreters, but nothing compare to YOU. You blow me away!!!, CHAMP!!!( Grinning). As Climbeck said. THANK YOU for actually TERPING SONGS in my language :-). You appear to be so dam NATIVE, lol. Very Impressive, indeed. !!! Keep it up, Kim!!. You make me as a Deaf man, PROUD, VERY PROUD!!

  • So far I have only watched a couple of your videos but I love them!! I am going to try to watch them all!!! You are super expressive...I am just a little confused because there are a lot of signs I don't recognize. There are a couple of reasons I can think of that this could be: A) I am just starting out in an interpreter training program so I don't know all the signs for everything!! B) We are in two different states so there could be an accent difference!! Anyways I think you are awesome!!

  • You are awesome...! WOW...!!

  • Wow...

  • Great interpretation of the song! Loved the facial expressions!

  • omg.. this is incredible!! i think i love you

  • When I first came to your page, your signing reminded me of someone.... Tiffany Hill.... also on YouTube... Awesome Your interpretations are awesome!!!

  • Not available on mobile?!?!? Sad day :-(

  • I'm taking ASL in college and I love watching your videos and being able to catch some signs that I know (just started this semester). It helps me to see how you would phrase certain things, and in which order it's said. However, there is still so much that slips past me, do you provide the GLOSS for any of your songs?

  • siiiiiiiick!!!!!

  • shit you're good
