fellow anime/manga fans, im in need of some help. im looking for an anime that is similar to the romantic comedy type yet a sort of a harem but more importantly about a guy who is seemingly down and cynical and then has his life changed by a wonderful woman or girl, depending on how old the characters may be. what i mean is something kind of like REC, if anyone has watched it, and the melancholy of haruhi suzumiya, both male protagonists have the sort of characteristics im talking about.

Have you seen Clannad? I don't know if it's exactly what you're looking for, but I liked REC and the melancholy of suzumiya haruhi and I liked Clannad so I think it would be good...

yea i have... the later episodes were a bit sad. it dissapointed me. but, other than that it was a good series. nagisa was such a cutie i envied tomoyo... (i think thats his name) ... but yea, is there anything else? iv posted several comments similar to this one in other videos looking for sugestions but peolpe keep telling me about clannad.. i wonder if the series type im looking for is limited ... -_-

Well Clannad is one of the few harem-like anime I've watched. (I don't like them very much cause the guy almost always chooses the wrong girl)

If it's mainly about the guy becoming happier because of the girl (chibi vampire) Karin seems perfect, but it's not really slice-of-life. Toradora might be better then.

Anyway I don't think it should be too difficult to find something. Just watch a few episodes before you judge the series

@snetchie Minami-Ke! is a great example of a comedic slice-of-life anime. Although I would recommend skipping the 2nd season, it's made by a different studio, and it's really bad, IMO.

lol that what i always do when i find an anime, i make sure all the episodes are there then watch it ninstop, aside from food and bathroom breaks lol and anime that are really long like bleach i got 72 episodes and i couldt stay up the whole time lol

I often mistrust women, feel they do have ulterior motives. I'm right most of the time, and the rest I usually end up having my own ulterior motives.

Someone 'pure', I believe women mischaracterize this a need for an emotionless girl (Stepford Wives). Communication is lost somewhere.

One way to make the cutest possible girl in an anime is to make her innocent in that "emotionless" kind of way. I mean, not like completely dead-on-the-inside emotionless, but you get my drift.

It contrasts so much with the diabolical, always-has-they're-own-motives type of women Im used to knowing in reality, in a really cute/innocent way.
