Nice overview of the new features in webOS version 1.4. I am rather impressed with the Palm Pre's video capture quality.

I really hope that webOS version 1.5 would maybe include a voice dialing application that will work through a Bluetooth headset. That would be simply wonderful.

You know to launch the "launcher" all you have to do is swipe up on the Gesture pad, you do not have to hit the button on the far right. Same with going out to card view, just swipe up on the Gesture pad. For the menus on top, such as messaging or whatever app youre in, you dont have to click that box, once again, just swipe down and it slides it open. Just saying for people who do not have the device, you make it seem very hard to open all the different menus etc.

It was an over the air update. It downloaded straight to the phone. To update an iPhone or iPod you have to use iTunes. So of course it's going to be faster.

yeah, what I meant with HTC spirit was HTC software, I tend to look at HTC software such as sense and touchflo 3D as what marks them, what makes them stand out. And I heard somewhere it was gonna have 720p recording, I guess its wrong, but just dont blame me, but what provided that information. but I think that the phone is actually branded HTC is what makes the whole difference for me between nexus one and the desire.

Yeah, Nexus one might get more updates, as its an actual google phone, and it has the full support from its OS's developers, and the HTC Desire will not be sold in the US, but you can buy it on clove for little more than the Nexus One, you will have to pay more because its HTC branding with custom features, witch most probably costs HTC some money...
