Ha, you can hardly open your mouth without speaking "D" - you just don't know it. E is relatively easy to pick up for us, since we already know "half" the basic words & most of the basic grammar. OE was far more complex with lots of endings, cases and genders, few prepositions, diff. versions of verbs for each person and number - like German or Icelandic stil have it - but was lost in the fusion.

Ha, you can hardly open your mouth without speaking "D" - you just don't know it. E is relatively easy to pick up for us, since we already know "half" the basic words & most of the basic grammar. OE was far more complex with lots of endings, cases and genders, few prepositions, diff. versions of verbs for each person and number - like German or Icelandic stil have it - but was lost in the fusion.
