The ending of the movie moved me. The movie was so good. In 2001, I was in my kitchen feeding my little boy. I was watching the news and I saw what happened to the world trait center, I stopped. I couldn't move. The roomed seemed to be spinning. I finally got a hold of my self. Then I remembered that my sister was there at the time. I cried for a long time.

RIP to all the poor innocent victims of the 9/11 disasters. and RIP to my great grandad who also died in the year 2001, that's also why i cry a lot. the year was such a terrible year to remember. and this film, or even this video alone has proved how much it gets to me :'(

You know what pisses me off the most about this ending? There are people on YouTube making videos and leaving comments about how this ending made them understand 9/11. I was only 11 years old at the time of the attacks and I fully comprehended the magnitude of it and the loss of human life. These fools only get it because it was Robert Pattinson who was standing in one of the towers. How fucking pathetic. How fucking shallow these people are. Fuck them and fuck this movie.
This movie could have been amazing, IF they dropped Pattinson who for the life of him couldn't drop his accent in half the scenes he played and had to have the audio redubbed. Emilie de Ravin is not much better as she's tongue tied in half the scenes herself. What a trainwreck putting these beautiful people on screen only to see them destroy themselves as they stumble through contrived terrible dialogue. Why does he love her? Twig armed Pattinson in a fistfight was funny to watch too.

People need to realize that this entire movie was designed as a tribute to those who died on 9/11, it wasn't a marketing ploy for a good ending. It was a philosophical take on the importance of life. To say that everybody who died on that day has a story, they had a purpose, and that it is important that we remember the things that each one of them did, as well as not let our own lives pass us by because it's impossible to predict what is ahead of us.

@Quwerty Vegas I think that's the best way a director could've made him died. Think about it, the day the twin towers were hit, it was so unexpected. You walk into a building and you don't expect a plane to crash into where you're at. You walk down a dark alley at nighttime and your guards up, but not when you just walk into a building. The movie is about how we must all live our life up as if it were our last cause it just very may well be.

A film has never touched me like this one has. It seemed a bit too normal and confusing throughout it, then when I saw the date I knew what was going to happen. I completely broke down; I was 4 when 9/11 happened, I remember seeing it on TV and even then knew the amount of devastation. Does this remind anyone else of Titanic? The way this was written 'backwards' created an even more powerful effect. Brilliant film, remember them. Rest in peace, all of those who tragically died on 9/11. <3

I saw this a few days ago for the first time, Very very good movie. But the ending was soooo unexpected. I saw the date, then I was like no...Then it started zooming away from the building and i starting saying no no no noooooooo Damn it! and i bawled my eyes out...Amazing movie.
My only complaint about the reveal is the way that they so obviously spelled "Tuesday September 11, 2001" on the board. It was a bit too... how can I put this... It was like they were forcing the audience to realize what had happened. It would have been more powerful had they showed the pan out to the towers, and then cut to the scenes where everyone is looking up, debris is falling, etc.

@Quwerty Vegas I think that's the best way a director could've made him died. Think about it, the day the twin towers were hit, it was so unexpected. You walk into a building and you don't expect a plane to crash into where you're at. You walk down a dark alley at nighttime and your guards up, but not when you just walk into a building. The movie is about how we must all live our life up as if it were our last cause it just very may well be.

A film has never touched me like this one has. It seemed a bit too normal and confusing throughout it, then when I saw the date I knew what was going to happen. I completely broke down; I was 4 when 9/11 happened, I remember seeing it on TV and even then knew the amount of devastation. Does this remind anyone else of Titanic? The way this was written 'backwards' created an even more powerful effect. Brilliant film, remember them. Rest in peace, all of those who tragically died on 9/11. <3

That movie ending actually brought tears to my eyes and couldn't hold back my emotion. I thought this movie as a whole was brilliant but the ending, though sad. Touched me in a way no other movie ever has.

Robert Pattinson in my mind would never be a phenomenal actor because of the Twilight movies, but when this came out and i went to see it with my sister, my god. I could not believe my eyes; this movie shocked me to the core. This is a movie that should be seen by everyone because it is so expertly well-made that even Christopher Nolan would say "It's a keeper," and that says a LOT

The average American would find a Holocaust joke funny(there are facebook groups based on these jokes with thousands of followers), but making a crack at 9/11 is somehow blasphemous. 3000 people died in 9/11. when i saw this movie everyone in the theater and myself were sobbing.. this is the most emotional and heart wrenching ending of a movie i have ever seen. i was overwhelmed by the sadness and was upset for days after.. very clever to use this movie as a reminder to those who may have began to forget.. epic.

My only complaint about the reveal is the way that they so obviously spelled "Tuesday September 11, 2001" on the board. It was a bit too... how can I put this... It was like they were forcing the audience to realize what had happened. It would have been more powerful had they showed the pan out to the towers, and then cut to the scenes where everyone is looking up, debris is falling, etc.

@Martianhammock it was a form of foreshadowing... of course people today that watch it will understand directly, 9/11 = "..........." but. for the unkeen eye your paying attention to how his story is significant. or has a unique feeling or story to tell all on its own. your not focusing on what "is" happening on this day for him. but only to find out that "he" died on this day. if ya get what i mean?

People are like " oh shit, oh shit, please no no no!!" It builds up the emotion. I feel like if it just started to pan out, People might be confused as to what's going on for a tad bit y'know what I'm saying? maybe that it rushes into it. I don't know that's just my opinion, you are entitles to your too :)
