Looks like King Kong woke up at the wrong side of the bed that only made this video in retaliation only because ming-lee got herself a simple traffic citation.
How is tax bought surveillance equipment used to protect some public official's "truck" from one guy with a camera? Well they got that one arrest. Meanwhile a woman was beaten by her officer boyfriend, a kid was raped, and OH NO some college kid smoked a bowl.
Where I live they called them "DUI/Driver License Checkpoint"
They check licenses on the premise of catching illegal aliens (without saying it so clearly, of course), but the problem is, if they actually arrest immigration law violators, they simply let them go the day after with a fine or court date. They actually expect them to go the court, LOL!
People think this is not a police state, yet the police break the law in such a public manner as these checkpoints.
That LEO is a lair! I would bet cash money that they were following you around on that camera and recording the video. Those cameras can zoom in REALLY close. I bet they got full body shots of you up close. There is no doubt that camera was recording video. The ones we have around here record directly onto a hard drive and the video is kept quite a while.
Holy crap - look at that Camaro! Where the hell are they getting the money to buy these tricked out show cars? Oh that's right, from our wallets.
I also like how the deputy calls it the "public right of way"; however, evidently it isn't a right of way. It is a privilege of way as long as you subject yourself to suspicion-less seizures.
Earning time and a half off of tax dollars - that's the life. Thanks deputies from keeping me safe from the lady who forgot her drivers license (even though you see in the system has she does have a valid drivers license), because she was rushing to the store for her sick child. That lady could have killed us, because we all know that if our license isn't in our pocket, then you can't remember how to drive properly. Collect that revenue deputy dipshit.
@HONORYOUROATH You deserve the respect. You're the one with the courage to stand up in the face of this non-sense. I'm just sorry that your wife had to be subjected to this. This is a clear example of when a LEO should have used discretion, but I'm sure they have to collect as many numbers as they can to quantify their "success" resulting from this checkpoint.
Nice keep em coming

Get an alarm for your truck instead of using expensive public owned surveillance equipment.

That's awesome you asked them if they got good video of you! lol

@yellowjacketf4i Do you believe what the LEO said about not recording video? Why would they spend all that money on cameras and not have video?
Sounds like HOGWASH to me!

This reminds me of a Nazi checkpoint.

I'd be curious to know what the one arrest was for. Probably got someone on an open warrant during their suspicion-less checks.
