If your earthly father acted like god, people would burn him at the stake. Either he is a desinterested spectator of human misery, or worse, a sadist enjoying it.

@ndzoko Read and meditate over John 3:16. The creator in spiritual being is merciless and it shows in the old testament where the chosen people were punished for any mistake. But the story of the new testament tells us how the son of God came and became the sacrificial lamb for sins - mine and yours included. God bless.

God cannot have a different set of morals for differen people.. What was good or evil at the dawn of humanity, must still be good or evil at the end of time and in all places. He cannot have a morality for the Jews and a different one for the Hottentots.

@mjbusman christianity in a nutshell: One day he decides to go and save mankind. He choses a people to help him with his plan . He desperately wants to be killed for mankind`s salvation. He prepares his chosen people(for many centennia) with many prophecies. but these have to be misunderstood, because if they see he is the Messiah, they will not kill him, and spoil his salvation plan. So his chosen people execute his plan by not recognizing their messiah. I admit it`s a WONDERFUL script
