I used to live in Northville, but moved in 2002. I think it's kind of a shame that it's going to be knocked down personally. Guess it's because I'm a psychology student and that building has interested me since I was a kid living just down the street from it.

When I moved to Northville last year I could walk through the woods into the 'compound' from the back of my apartments. I find it absoluely astounding the urban ruins you can find in the Detroit area. Huge complex modern buildings decaying in suburbia. Facinating, disturbing, and tracigly beautiful.

The buildings will be demolished only after one of them collapses on a bunch of kids having a party. If they had any real plan to do anything with the land, they'd certainly have done it by now. I went in there a few years back but I won't go there now. It's really falling apart.

The city has no cash, they just bought the land back. Plans for the complex for now is basically let it rot like before. Might be some State Cops I heard but I doubt it. The cops have better stuff to do. Plus they are easy to dodge if they are driving around. Stay in the bush.

The only problem with that is, the township government officials are SO FULL OF SHIT that they shouldn't be running the Arby's down the street let alone a TOWNSHIP. I GUARANTEE you that those building won't come down for 3 to 5 years.
