Your foot will actually naturally do that as you get faster.  Most drummers I know that frequently play a double bass will tell you the same thing.

Its natural, the leverage from your leg/ankle is used more when drumming faster, so your foot naturally slides down the pedal.

If you actually want to do double bass you have to practice. Not just do some fast back and forth sixteenths, but some rhythms, because your trick will actually not help you get faster at double bass, but make you weaker and sloppier.
