  • i want some orpingtons so bad but there a bit big for my coop at the moment :(

  • Aww, they are so cute. I hope to have 2-3 orpington chickens one day. For laying eggs only, as I am a vegetarian. :)

  • I have a question the owner of the chickens how do you get them this big I have buffs but they never seem to get as big as these buffs shown in the video please let me know I would appreciate it. I feed them chick starter should I feed them something extra? Or to anyone who knows

  • @Swift898 Generally, the ones you get from commercial hatcheries in the USA are not as big as they should be. These are often crossed with other breeds and the object is egg laying only. So you end up with a 4 lb layer, not the 6-8 lb dual purpose bird they should be. There are breeders however around the country and in Canada that raise nice big ones.

  • Hello. How can I tell the hens from the roosters? I know the laying of eggs and crowing. Mine just turned 5 months old no eggs yet. Thank you.

  • best condition orpingtons i have ever seen . I breed them too
