@Stereomindtv I think it's just a generic remo typa deal you can find anywhere. He definitely made his own holes and bought the silver rings as a kit to do it. Check out a guitar center or something and you can do it.

Hey man LOVE your vids keep em coming if you could how did you manage to get your kick to sound that way or is it mainly cause of the Mic?? and putting the, I'm not sure what there called but, Mic Holes in your kick make a big difference in sound???

@oBIGxREDo hey dude, the placement of the holes don't really have an effect on the sound, but the fact that there are any holes kinda does...it all really comes down the tuning of the batter head. it's tuned super loose and low, and then the resonating head is about twice as tight to give it that shorter, punchier sound. Also, keep in mind we are mixing these drums too with some compression and EQ. But try making your heads on all drums as loose as they'll go!

@oBIGxREDo the kick that we used in these last two videos, only has a small pillow in it. The batter head is tuned very low and then the resonate head is tuned higher/tighter...

@Varydrummer14 em if i was to guess by the design of the lugs i would say a yamaha or possibly a custom drum kit, altho the colour looks very boring for a custom drum set (customs usually hav crazy paint finishes) so i would guess yamaha
