Cool video, I wasn't sure if the rumors of Tony Jaa being a Khmer were true or not but it looks like it is. Actually I think I remember you mentioning that he is a Khmer Surin. Funny thing, most Thai people can trace their genealogy to Khmer Roots because of the Angkorians who dominated half of SEA. Most people today don't have a strong Tai lineage
As for Kyuktooki. I've looked into it last year and it actually is a Korean System NOT based on SEA systems but on a Monks martial art 300 years ago
@ichibang15549 Sorry, I am misunderstanding again, Kyuktooki. are you the Thai fighter who fought against the Tae Kwan Do guy and knocked him out? That's so cool.
@ichibang15549 did you hear me speaking Thai? Yes, I hate Thailand so much that I spent two years learning teh language, then another three years studying Muay Thai and boran and Chaiya with as many teachers as I could, traveling all over the country, writing magazine articles and making videos and TV shows promoting Thailand, and I did all of this because i hate Thailand. What have you done for yoru country apart from attacking me?
@ichibang15549 Ok I admit publicly THERE ARE MANY STYLES OF MUAY BORAN. So what's your point? Do you think Khmers will like Thai people better if there is more than one style of Boran? The reason I shot this video in surin was because I was looking for Bokator in the Khmer population of Thailand but didnt find it. I did find Adjan Sok Chai who was Tony Jaa;s teacher and in most of Tony jaa's movies.
Brooklyn don't talk to this guy cause he obviously bias and ignorant. Boran is a khmer word for "Ancient" which the thai people adopted. I'm pretty sure you know where Muay Boran derived from. *wink*

Cambodia and the Khmer Empire is one in the same, because the people are the same and so is the history. Surin has long isolated by any form of government until Thai annexed it along with many other regions.
@JamesChan187 My discussion between me and @brooklynmonk1 is about the terms to use when refer to the history as follows, "Before 18th there's no nation state, it's the Khmer Kingdom that ruled over this area. And it was ceded to Ayutthaya Kingdom not Thailand. Cambodia and Thailand are a modern nation state. When you stated "Khmer Surin province used to be part of Cambodia" and "it was ceded to Thailand" it misleading people to think Thailand taking Cambodia's land. Read it again please.
@JamesChan187 Surin used to be part of Khmer Kingdom.Angkor was sacked by the Ayutthaya Kingdom and abandoned in 1432.It is in the 18th century that Surin re-emerges. At this time a Kuay local leader named Chiangpum became the royally appointed ruler of the region. According to legend he presented a rare white elephant to the Chao Phaya Chakri, future King Rama I. In gratitude, Chiangpum was awarded the royal title Luang Surin Phakdi and appointed the village headman.
@JamesChan187 When Rama I became the Thai monarch, he appointed Luang Surin Phakdi as the province's governor. In 1763 the village was moved to the location of the modern city of Surin, and was upgraded to a city with the name Muang Prathai Saman. Also, that the original location of the town was at Muang Thi, approximately fifthteen kilometres to the east of the modern city. In 1786, the city's name was changed to Surin in honor of its governor.
This is not Muay Boran, just regular sport Muay Thai training.
The reggae gay is not Muay Boran master. He runs reggae bar at Koh Phangan and visitting home after finished Full Moon Party with the white dude, and yes they are the big fan of ganja.
@sahapoom1975 Not sure where you are getting your information, but I am the big white dude in the video and I neither drink alcohol nor ingest any type of drugs, not even ganja. Adjan Sok Chai was one of Tony Jaa's original teachers and if you look, you will see him in several of the movies, particularly, Ong Bak II.
@sahapoom1975 This is definitely not modern muay thai. Modern Muay Thai doesn't have a fraction of the techniques the adjan does in this series of videos.
@mikekidrobot12 I didnt do it as a video, I interviewed Jaa's parents for Black Belt magazine. The interview appeared in print in the magazine and also in my book, Warrior Odyssey.
I do have a question, Mr. Graceffo or how do yo u like to be addressed? IS it possible that if one from the U.S. travelled to the asian countries and trained in the arts of Bokator, Muay Boran, Muay Chaiya, and Krabi Kabong for an example and returned to the U.S. could he or she teach it with certifications?
I do have a question, is it possible that if one from the U.S. trained in several of the martial arts in asia take Bokator, Muay Boran, Muay Chaiya, and krabi Kabong for an example and certified in them and returned to the U.S. with that knowledge could he or she teach it?
Mr. Graceffo, I have read the warrior's odyessy and it has been the best I have ever read in years only took me 6 to 7 days. The way how you travelled around through those countries and learned from important figures it's just amazing. It taught mea lot about Southeaste Asia and gave inspiration. Keep learning and travelling if you create enough works can change the way people think about the places. I plan to read it again for you have made a difference, friend. sincerely Raymond Earl Murry III
@harukohayashi the song is Filipino because I love Filipino pop and because it's politically neutral. if i use khmer music, Thais get angry. if i use thai music, Khmers get angry. So i use Filipino music. Yes, the video is in Thailand, on the Khmer border.
@kismet999 First off, if you actually speak Thai, then you know that Boran just means ancient. I can Muay Boran or Muay Thai Boran or Muay Thai Surin Boran or a thousand other options. The song is Filipino, the NATIONAL language of the Philippines, which i use because i like it and because it is politically neutral.
@mpa324 muay thai is more of the newer version and is more sport affiliated but muay boran is more of an ancient form used for life and death fighting and killing and muay boran moves are more efficient for example for muay thai for a kick u kind of take a little step and then kick but for muay boran u do more of a pivot with the hips rather than stepping kind of better because u dont telegraph u kick as much
@sasuke0447 yeah but muay thai is still an old ass sport from thai land, and it all depends on who taught you i guess when it comes to the hip philosophy because my instructor wouldnt tech us anything else unless we torqued our hips for that extra necessarry bost
@6ftUnder92592 Actually Muay Thai is only from 1924 when the sport was codified in Thailand. Officially, boran is anything prior to that date, even though boran means ancient. Boran has a lot more techniques than sport muay Thai, more kicks especially, but there is no single, codified textbook of boran, where as, there are all encompassing textbooks for modern muay.
@mpa324 I know this is a old comment, but I don't think it matter weather someone terms it Muay Boran or Muay Thai Boran. Since neither is a style or name of a style but rather just a catch term for all "ancient" styles of muay....Muay Thai is a cleaner version of boran?..hard to tell since there so many Boran styles that are very different from one another, but Muay Thai being used in the ring had a a lot of time to find out what worked and what doesnt..
@mpa324 Muay Thai Boran is a tidied up version of Muay Boran(which isn't actually a system). Its tidied up so that many techniques can work with Sports like Muay Thai.
hey i love your videos and listening to your experiences in SEA. I also love muay thai and through Tony Jaa's (whom im obsessed with) movies and performances and your videos i learned that there was a real and effective martial art behind it and that it's no just a sport. it is my dream to go to Thailand and just learn from the masters of the art. however, i would like to know how well women are received by these masters? is it not accepted? not taken seriously? or hopefully, is it the opposite?
@1004186 until about eight years ago women couldnt even get in a muay thai ring. now most foreigner gyms allow women and it is not a problem at all. but for professional fighting, not every ring allows women. so they have to have a separate ring for female fighters. and some thai camps wont allow women. but most foreigner camps do
@1004186 I haven't heard of Muay Thai camps that still dont take female students. They will be more than happy to train you. As for muay boran check out Kru Preang he teaches Mae Mai Muay Thai Chaiya (a style of muay boran) in Bangkok and he has many female students! hope this helps
thanks for the upload, i highly recommend using the ancient style in the ring as the poor saps who use only ring style have no idea what's happening lmao it worked for me :D
@aa3gunner i used a Tagolog song in that video because if i used Thai music, Khmers would get angry, and if i used Khmer music Thais would get angry. so it was neutral.
@brooklynmonk1 I am a combat trainer in NJ and my research has taught me that
Krabi Krabong is the original martial art in old Thailand, and that Boran, Ledrit and Muay Thai came after. Please educate me on this. I am originally from Brooklyn.
@clearcombat Actually, although boran menas ancient, by legal definition anything before 1925 is Boran. When Muay Thai was codified as a sport, when the rules were written up, and gloves and ring became mandatory, that was considered the end of boran. so boran is actually anything before that time.
@brooklynmonk1 technically you could include Krabi Krabong in Boran or see it as a separate art. But as for Ledrit, the only reference i have ever heard of ledrit is on the show Human Weapon. I have lived and trained over here for 9 years and neither I nor ANYONE else i can find, has ever heard of Ledrit.
actually you are right. i just love filipino pop music and the song was called Abot Khmei which in khmer langugae would be Abot Khmer or the head monk in a monastery and i am living in a monastery with khmers when we shot this.
Fact is This is not a 1000 years old art. Even his cried when hitting the back proof that he had been train in the modern muaythai style. muaythai is proof to be the combination of many regional muays;be the close range of elbow and knee from the northern style called muay Jerng The hard round kick of korat style or many defensive tricks from Chaiya style and etc. After centuries of intergration and evolvement this whole unique package of muaythai began. The tattoo tradition is from the north..
i am sorry guys, but doesnt anyone here realize what fuckin noobs these guys are?
this so called teacher is a complete joke.(hey, actually he seems to be a good yogi...respect for that)
come to bangkok and have a look at the "muay boran conservation center" in the national stadion. there you can get an impression of what muay boran is all about
is it really appropriate to call me a noob? i did a lot of work on this, particularly with the culture of the kuiy people and using all three languaghes, khmer, thai and english and interviewing tony jaas parents and teacher.
whatever man, don't get me wrong, you're attempt of making a nice documentary is nice. but your ajahn( and by the way ajahn is nothing really special. I am a language teacher in bkk and my students call me ajahn as well. and all of them are actually older than me...) is a guy with absolute beginner skill. I trained muay thai for a couple of years and muay boran for just a couple of weeks and can already do better. just open your eyes man.
come on bro, you dont have to put others down to promote yourself, brooklyn monk never made a claim to be an amazing kickboxer, he is documenting martial arts for the world to see.
i am the white guy in the video. i have been training martial arts for thirty years. i had 46 fights in the army and a handful of pro fights. have you seen the nearly 200 episodes of martial arts odyssey i have shot in like ten countries and God knows how many teachers? no, it wouldnt be the better way.
and you have done nothing, so your quality is zero. i am out there working, creating and producing, and you only throw insults. you are a great person, and you are making the world a better place.
and tony jaa is not a reference for muay boran anyway. he trained muay boran for a year or somewhat, although he is a great athlete with great talent....
theres just to many people here that are keyboard warriors always ready to talk big cause there's no way we can get them to prove it... ur actually doing something about it antonio
thanks for the support. i am trying to show people different martial arts and cultures and teachers, even if my skills arent perfect. but the one called thailandgammler told me where he trains and i will find him in bangkok.
you are right. they are all khmer words and the meaning is the same in thai and khmer. adjan can be the teacher of the teachers, or as you said, a religious teacher. lok though is used for anyone you respect in cambodia, they dont have that one in thailand. they call it kun, in thai. preah yes is god or higher being. good explanation
It been a while since I used my Thai but if I am not mistaken "adjan" means 'teacher' or 'master' so its not his name. His name is Sok Chai, so Adjan Sok Chai mean Master/Teacher Sok Chai.
You're a maniac! yes adjan means teacher. but his Name is Adjan Sok Chai. you call people teacher, monk, older brother, and several others, as part of their name. i am not sure what distinction you are making here but this is normal Thai culture.
Oh and before anyone else who had two weeks of thia lessons chimese in, Kru is the basic word for teacher. adjan is higher. kru adjan is higher again, it suggests a teacher of teachers.
martail art plays a big part in modren societies since gun laws are not as lax in their countries then in america like countries such as korea they used hired melee body gaurds and russia too
@666erjay666 I love Filipino music and it is politically neutral. Thais get angry if I use Khmer music and Khmers get angry if I use Thai. So, I use Filipino.
muay thai is a sport art, for fighting in the ring. you wear gloves, fight in rounds and follow rules. muay thai boran is the original art which has a lot more techniques and is more deadly.
similar to the difference between jujitsu (traditional) and judo or bjj. the latter two are sport derivatives, the former the war art they came from. as brooklynmonk1 said
there are at least four kicks in regular muay thai roundhouse thaikick lowkick and push kick or heel kick (the name varies) in more advanced muay thai I have seen downward axe low kicks so what u said about kicks was pretty poorly informed edging on plain stupid :(
sorry for being stupid. i have two post graduate degrees and have authored a number of books and speak nine languages, but clearly i am dumb. i checked your channel but i didnt see your better muay thai boran videos. when will they be released?
i said muay thai has two basic kicks. and it does. you are saying four kicks. whether the number is two or four it is a lot less than muay thai boran which has countless kicks.
noty sure why that is siuch a problem for you. i train at windy gym in bangkok
Kyle1172 i train at windy gym in bangkok if you would like to come and show me, and my trainers, how many basic kicks there are in muay thai. i tried to send yo a message but you have friend lock. that is so funny.
Well where I train there are 3 main kicks your roundhouse/thaikick , lowkick and push kick by the way I am 15 and speak one language yet I think I'm smarter than u also your kneeing on the bag is slow has no fluidity and u are like a robot it's funny how shit u are on top of that I saw your stance at one point in the clinch and it looked like you were squeezing out a baby HILARIOUS!!
if you say i am not good at muay thai that is fine. but dont say i am not smart. now you changed from four basic kicks to three. i said there are two. do you really not see that those numbers are very close together?
kyle1172 your an idiot lmao the round house kick and low kick are the same kick..........just done at a different height....so theres only 2 "basic" kicks and everything else is a variation of the two..lol Since your only 15 we forgive you, kids your age are usually ignorant. Antonio might be a little on the narrow minded side but at least he exposes himself to different cultures and is travaling and doing his thing while your still in high school jerking off to pictures online lol
if they are the same kick within the same martial art then why do they have different names. different uses in muay thai and look completely different? your the idiot also just because I'm 15 it doesnt mean I beat my meat to porn people at my school are having sex all the time at 13, 14, 15.... As am I.
kyle you are incredible. do you know anything about martial arts at all? the low kick is just a variation of a roundhouse. how do you not see that? seriously, push kick and round house, thats it. everything else is a variation. by the way, how many gyms, how many trainers, how many years, and how many fights have you had? i suspect the answer is one or less than one.
I know the instructor at jai freestyle (where I do muay thai) would dis-agree with you and he has 20 years or so martial arts experience I also think teed (the thai at the club) who has had something like 80 fights in thailand would dis-agree with you
you think but obviously dont know if they would disagree. but if they did they would be the only people in the world who would disagree with what i said. can't you see that you have no experience or trainiing or education? isnt that obvious to you? seriously? what do you think we are doing over here in thailand? i live in bloody thailand and i have been trianing in asia eight years ?
actually i do speak nine languages and i am a well known linguist. you could google my name antonio graceffo. and there are about twenty linguistics videos on my youtube site where you see me giving lectures at univeristies in various countries speaking, thai chinese, german, spanish, khmer...
and if you look at my videos i have trained about four different styles and with countless teachers and sparred in malaysia, cambodia lao..do you see a pattern here
actually i talked about that extensively n the video. but its only one tribe, the kuoy (also called suoy on the thai side) surin is mixed lao and khmer but surin city, which is where this is filmed is mostly khmer and kuoy
necause surin is khmer surin and i wanted to show my respect for cambodia. i lived in both country for two years each and studied both martial arts and want to show my respect for both. some of the videos have thai background music.
Im confused. In the movie "Yamada", it shows Muay Thai but then It looks like there is also Muay Boran

There is no Khmer Surin province in Thailand, just Surin.
Surin never used to be part of Cambodia, but haft of Cambodia used to be territory of Thailand before 1907.
Tony Jaa, Buakaw and Surin people are not Khmer, they are Thai citizen.
It is usual that thai and Cambidian live near border can speak both Thai and Khmer language.

@brooklynmonk1 Another two things that I think it's not true, and might lead to more confliction of people between two countries.
1. "Khmer Surin province of Thailand" you should correct to "Surin province of Thailand"
2. "Khmer Surin province used to be part of Cambodia" you should correct to "Surin province used to be part of ancient Khmer Kingdom"
As you know, It's too much confliction in this world. I hope you will understand my point. :)

JamesChan187 5 months ago
@JamesChan187 Surin used to be part of Khmer Kingdom.Angkor was sacked by the Ayutthaya Kingdom and abandoned in 1432.It is in the 18th century that Surin re-emerges. At this time a Kuay local leader named Chiangpum became the royally appointed ruler of the region. According to legend he presented a rare white elephant to the Chao Phaya Chakri, future King Rama I. In gratitude, Chiangpum was awarded the royal title Luang Surin Phakdi and appointed the village headman.
sahapoom1975 5 months ago
@JamesChan187 When Rama I became the Thai monarch, he appointed Luang Surin Phakdi as the province's governor. In 1763 the village was moved to the location of the modern city of Surin, and was upgraded to a city with the name Muang Prathai Saman. Also, that the original location of the town was at Muang Thi, approximately fifthteen kilometres to the east of the modern city. In 1786, the city's name was changed to Surin in honor of its governor.

This is not Muay Boran, just regular sport Muay Thai training.
The reggae gay is not Muay Boran master. He runs reggae bar at Koh Phangan and visitting home after finished Full Moon Party with the white dude, and yes they are the big fan of ganja.
sahapoom1975 5 months ago
@sahapoom1975 Not sure where you are getting your information, but I am the big white dude in the video and I neither drink alcohol nor ingest any type of drugs, not even ganja. Adjan Sok Chai was one of Tony Jaa's original teachers and if you look, you will see him in several of the movies, particularly, Ong Bak II.

@sahapoom1975 This is definitely not modern muay thai. Modern Muay Thai doesn't have a fraction of the techniques the adjan does in this series of videos.

@raytitan19 Yes you can earn certificates here in Asia, then go back and teach in USA.

Hey, it's from Thailand right? But the song, i think it's tagalog....Am I right?
harukohayashi 1 year ago
@harukohayashi the song is Filipino because I love Filipino pop and because it's politically neutral. if i use khmer music, Thais get angry. if i use thai music, Khmers get angry. So i use Filipino music. Yes, the video is in Thailand, on the Khmer border.
brooklynmonk1 1 year ago
First off, that's Muai Boran, not Muai Thai Boran. Second, the song you are using is in Tagalog, a Dialect from Philippines not from Thailand.
kismet999 1 year ago
@kismet999 First off, if you actually speak Thai, then you know that Boran just means ancient. I can Muay Boran or Muay Thai Boran or Muay Thai Surin Boran or a thousand other options. The song is Filipino, the NATIONAL language of the Philippines, which i use because i like it and because it is politically neutral.
brooklynmonk1 1 year ago
Isnt it just Muay Boran, not Muay Thai Boran..Muay Thai is just a cleaner version of Muay Boran I think i could be wrong
mpa324 1 year ago 7
@mpa324 Boran just means ancient. so you could call it muay boran which mean ancient fighting or muay thai boran which means ancient muay thai.
brooklynmonk1 1 year ago
@brooklynmonk1 ok cool..thnx for the info

@brooklynmonk1 See I'm wrong, thnx for clearing it up
mpa324 1 year ago
@brooklynmonk1 Hey, uhm, the song is tagalog right? I know that song..haha where did u get that?
harukohayashi 1 year ago
@mpa324 muay thai is more of the newer version and is more sport affiliated but muay boran is more of an ancient form used for life and death fighting and killing and muay boran moves are more efficient for example for muay thai for a kick u kind of take a little step and then kick but for muay boran u do more of a pivot with the hips rather than stepping kind of better because u dont telegraph u kick as much
sasuke0447 1 year ago
@sasuke0447 cool thnx
mpa324 1 year ago
@sasuke0447 yeah but muay thai is still an old ass sport from thai land, and it all depends on who taught you i guess when it comes to the hip philosophy because my instructor wouldnt tech us anything else unless we torqued our hips for that extra necessarry bost
6ftUnder92592 1 year ago
@6ftUnder92592 Actually Muay Thai is only from 1924 when the sport was codified in Thailand. Officially, boran is anything prior to that date, even though boran means ancient. Boran has a lot more techniques than sport muay Thai, more kicks especially, but there is no single, codified textbook of boran, where as, there are all encompassing textbooks for modern muay.
brooklynmonk1 1 year ago
@mpa324 I know this is a old comment, but I don't think it matter weather someone terms it Muay Boran or Muay Thai Boran. Since neither is a style or name of a style but rather just a catch term for all "ancient" styles of muay....Muay Thai is a cleaner version of boran?..hard to tell since there so many Boran styles that are very different from one another, but Muay Thai being used in the ring had a a lot of time to find out what worked and what doesnt..
lazy702622 7 months ago

1004186 1 year ago
@1004186 until about eight years ago women couldnt even get in a muay thai ring. now most foreigner gyms allow women and it is not a problem at all. but for professional fighting, not every ring allows women. so they have to have a separate ring for female fighters. and some thai camps wont allow women. but most foreigner camps do
brooklynmonk1 1 year ago
@1004186 I haven't heard of Muay Thai camps that still dont take female students. They will be more than happy to train you. As for muay boran check out Kru Preang he teaches Mae Mai Muay Thai Chaiya (a style of muay boran) in Bangkok and he has many female students! hope this helps

@brooklynmonk1 I am a combat trainer in NJ and my research has taught me that
Krabi Krabong is the original martial art in old Thailand, and that Boran, Ledrit and Muay Thai came after. Please educate me on this. I am originally from Brooklyn.
clearcombat 1 year ago
@clearcombat Actually, although boran menas ancient, by legal definition anything before 1925 is Boran. When Muay Thai was codified as a sport, when the rules were written up, and gloves and ring became mandatory, that was considered the end of boran. so boran is actually anything before that time.
brooklynmonk1 1 year ago
@brooklynmonk1 technically you could include Krabi Krabong in Boran or see it as a separate art. But as for Ledrit, the only reference i have ever heard of ledrit is on the show Human Weapon. I have lived and trained over here for 9 years and neither I nor ANYONE else i can find, has ever heard of Ledrit.

brooklynmonk1 1 year ago
Fact is This is not a 1000 years old art. Even his cried when hitting the back proof that he had been train in the modern muaythai style. muaythai is proof to be the combination of many regional muays;be the close range of elbow and knee from the northern style called muay Jerng The hard round kick of korat style or many defensive tricks from Chaiya style and etc. After centuries of intergration and evolvement this whole unique package of muaythai began. The tattoo tradition is from the north..

in khmer its called ahja or adja. kru is teacher, adja is higher priest, lok is monk, preah is god/higher being.
outbacktraveler 2 years ago
you are right. they are all khmer words and the meaning is the same in thai and khmer. adjan can be the teacher of the teachers, or as you said, a religious teacher. lok though is used for anyone you respect in cambodia, they dont have that one in thailand. they call it kun, in thai. preah yes is god or higher being. good explanation
brooklynmonk1 2 years ago
abot kamay ang langit
SmellPushBabalush 2 years ago
It been a while since I used my Thai but if I am not mistaken "adjan" means 'teacher' or 'master' so its not his name. His name is Sok Chai, so Adjan Sok Chai mean Master/Teacher Sok Chai.
Then again, I could be wrong.
nyairorokidul2000 2 years ago
You're a maniac! yes adjan means teacher. but his Name is Adjan Sok Chai. you call people teacher, monk, older brother, and several others, as part of their name. i am not sure what distinction you are making here but this is normal Thai culture.

there are at least four kicks in regular muay thai roundhouse thaikick lowkick and push kick or heel kick (the name varies) in more advanced muay thai I have seen downward axe low kicks so what u said about kicks was pretty poorly informed edging on plain stupid :(
kyle1172 2 years ago
sorry for being stupid. i have two post graduate degrees and have authored a number of books and speak nine languages, but clearly i am dumb. i checked your channel but i didnt see your better muay thai boran videos. when will they be released?
brooklynmonk1 2 years ago
i said muay thai has two basic kicks. and it does. you are saying four kicks. whether the number is two or four it is a lot less than muay thai boran which has countless kicks.
noty sure why that is siuch a problem for you. i train at windy gym in bangkok
brooklynmonk1 2 years ago
Kyle1172 i train at windy gym in bangkok if you would like to come and show me, and my trainers, how many basic kicks there are in muay thai. i tried to send yo a message but you have friend lock. that is so funny.

brooklynmonk1 2 years ago
I do, was clearly a reply to I do have a friend lock as in when people say I DO? because something suprises them...
kyle1172 2 years ago
Well where I train there are 3 main kicks your roundhouse/thaikick , lowkick and push kick by the way I am 15 and speak one language yet I think I'm smarter than u also your kneeing on the bag is slow has no fluidity and u are like a robot it's funny how shit u are on top of that I saw your stance at one point in the clinch and it looked like you were squeezing out a baby HILARIOUS!!
kyle1172 2 years ago
if you say i am not good at muay thai that is fine. but dont say i am not smart. now you changed from four basic kicks to three. i said there are two. do you really not see that those numbers are very close together?
brooklynmonk1 2 years ago
kyle1172 your an idiot lmao the round house kick and low kick are the same kick..........just done at a different height....so theres only 2 "basic" kicks and everything else is a variation of the two..lol Since your only 15 we forgive you, kids your age are usually ignorant. Antonio might be a little on the narrow minded side but at least he exposes himself to different cultures and is travaling and doing his thing while your still in high school jerking off to pictures online lol
anhkhoinguyen 2 years ago
if they are the same kick within the same martial art then why do they have different names. different uses in muay thai and look completely different? your the idiot also just because I'm 15 it doesnt mean I beat my meat to porn people at my school are having sex all the time at 13, 14, 15.... As am I.
kyle1172 2 years ago
kyle you are incredible. do you know anything about martial arts at all? the low kick is just a variation of a roundhouse. how do you not see that? seriously, push kick and round house, thats it. everything else is a variation. by the way, how many gyms, how many trainers, how many years, and how many fights have you had? i suspect the answer is one or less than one.
brooklynmonk1 2 years ago
I know the instructor at jai freestyle (where I do muay thai) would dis-agree with you and he has 20 years or so martial arts experience I also think teed (the thai at the club) who has had something like 80 fights in thailand would dis-agree with you
kyle1172 2 years ago
you think but obviously dont know if they would disagree. but if they did they would be the only people in the world who would disagree with what i said. can't you see that you have no experience or trainiing or education? isnt that obvious to you? seriously? what do you think we are doing over here in thailand? i live in bloody thailand and i have been trianing in asia eight years ?

You have a mistake there.
Muay Boran is ORIGINALLY Cambodian. So you shouldn't call it Muay Thai Boran.
Muay Thai is a descendant of Muay Boran. Which is Cambodian. People in Thailand claim Muay Boran for themselves. Its not true though.
