  • Thanks for recording my favorite singer/songwriter. Everything he touches or composes becomes like a fine gem & is precious. I was lucky to be there that night. I liked how Richard didn't spend time between each song checking each string on an electronic tuner. He was playing solo and he just adjusted the tuning of a string if it was out of tune with the others

  • I like both versions a lot, but Jeffrey's version just a tiny, tiny little bit more.

  • what tuning is r s using, j f does not do a tuning

  • @GpMvp82 RS typically plays in DADGAD, and this song is no exception

  • I cant believe he didn't yell at you for video taping!

    What a wonderful musician!

  • If I'm not mistaken this is from South of Delia, which is ALL cover songs. Stating that it's from his "new" album would imply that it's a cover. Check out his cover of Acadian Driftwood. It's wonderful.

  • I wouldn't worry about Richard crediting Jeffrey. They are friends. Besides, its usually other artists covering Shindell, so I am sure Jeffrey is honored.

Both versions are fantastic in their own right.

  • Thanks for adding this! Awesome cover, awesome artiste....

  • found the "KENWORTH OF MY DREAMS" song

  • Love it! Looking for a vid of "KENWORTH OF MY DREAMS"

  • He didn't Jeffrey Foucault credit for writing the song.

  • He gave credit in the album literature as required. You are not required to give credit when you cover a song live.

  • Absolutely gorgeous version of the song by Richard Shindell. Great song written by Jeffrey; beautiful cover by Richard. Two great artists... aren't we the lucky ones ;-)

  • Truly, we ARE the lucky ones for having experienced these tender versions of a haunting melody and song!

  • I disagree. I think he did a fine cover of this and most of the other songs he recorded for South of Delia.

  • Are you kidding? I just listened to Jeffrey Foucault perform this song and there's hardly a difference, except RS's guitar part is better.

  • good but try listning to the original ,,, jeffery foucault

  • This is absolutely beautiful. I love the way he tells stories through his music.

  • I love Richard's version of this song. The man is truly underrated.

  • Thanks again for sharing. Excellent song!!
