I'm glad you're enjoying "Glacial Lake Missoula." That would have been a beautiful and yet terrifying time in the history of the earth. Had I painted it with more reality, there would have been only a frozen waste instead of waves. That should trigger even a wilder imagination.
I have made a wallpaper from your painting and sometimes I put it on the screen. I look at the impersonal snow coated mountains, devoid of all life for so many centuries, and it makes me realize that -long before man walked the earth, nature had its say...when and where to act...

Very nice, I had heard of this lake and the massive flood. One estimate
is that the lake had about half the volume of water that is in present
day Lake Michigan. When that water broke through and started the
flood it must have been a marvel to behold.
