This whole issue is sad. I dont know what these old farts are think and why they decided to force a constitutional amendment off on us. And what are they thinking is going to happen? That once this is over gays and lesbians will just throw up their hands and give up? Look at the younger generation they wont tolerate this amendment and if it were to pass they would wast time overturing it...It just doesnt make sense live and let live and VOTE NO ON amendment 2
"Social and moral issues define us." Exactly, that's why our Constitution was written to protect the rights of all citizens. This ballot issue is hateful and will remove benefits from Florida families. Vote No on 2. The same issue passed in Michigan in 2004; the supporters lied to voters before the election, just as they are doing here today. Michigan Attorney General Mike Cox removed benefits from families in Michigan after it passed. Vote No on 2.
Fact: It is currently AGAINST the law for gays and lesbians to be married in the state of Florida.
Fact: This amendment upholds the status quo on this issue.
Fact: The bible calls this an abomination.
Fact: In every state this has come up for vote, rather than being decided by a judge who is legislating from the bench, this amendment has passed.
Fact: People need to make up their own minds. But as for this early 20's Florida resident and voter, There is only one choice - Yes on amendment 2.
