  • I first saw Marva at Muddy Waters in 1992 and was absolutely blown away. When she did Bluesiana Momma it brought the house down. I saw her every time I went to NOLA over 13. It was great to see her in my home town Melbourne Australia where I met and spoke with her. Lovely lady RIP Marva you'll never be forgotten

  • I had the immense pleasure and privilege of playing piano for this wonderful artist on tour in Germany and France in 06. She was a class act and a great human being, and made my life richer. I will always be grateful that she wanted me around, and her untimely passing is the whole world's loss. RIP.

  • Had the good fortune of seeing her perform twice over the years, once in New Orleans, where I was lucky enough to meet her & speak for a few moments. She was a lovely woman & a great performer. R.I.P. Marva.

  • She has at least 3 octaves and that's very good. And sitting down. OMG! In this one I wish she would have come back and sang the ending. So cool!

  • the piano player is keiko kimachi

  • You will be missed R.I.P. Marva
