@treviesm3 That thing is freaking crazy. Even on easy mode, its hard as a mofo to kill, way more terrifying and stronger than a Big Daddy. It sucks too when shes about to show up. Play the game and you will get freaked out, especially if you have other enemies to deal with.

It's a little sister that has grown up, and is collecting new little sisters to return to rapture. If you chose the good ending, one of the hands that held you when you died may very well be the big sister's.

This is what I had found out through the game site.

Big Sister was once a Little Sister who returned to Rapture, built herself a suit from the parts used on the Big Daddy's and then went about kid-napping girls ages 5-7 alone the Atlantic coast of Europe and then headed for the US. Through her kidnappings, she became more bold. Taking the girls just from under the noses of their parents.

The Big Sister is a little sister that grown up and is now a huge threat because she hold the adam and she can use plasmids so basiclly, sence she was had the adam put inside her, she has infinate amount of power. In BioShock 2 you play as the very first Big Daddy or a prototype Big Daddy. Since you are the very first this gives you the ability to use plamids and also the same weapons as the Big Daddy from the first BioShock. Now BioShock 2 is set 10 years after. No matter the outcome you had in the first, the little sisters and Tenenbaum managed to escape. One little sister went back to Rapture and took over making sure everything is in order. If you mess things up, well then your screwed....=)

The normal Big Daddys you see in Bioshock 1 are special Cloned people in Deep see diving suits. So who ever created the clones, meant for them to protect the carrier of the adam (the little sisters). So in BS2 your the 1st normal person to be in a BD suit so you dont do what the cloned BD do sense they are brainwashed. Your a Good BD and you help a women. And I beleave the cloned BD are clones of the 1st BD (The BD you play as in BS2.)

STORY: This is from the interview of 2k Marin

A little sister that was saved by jack in the first game, and is now older, disappears into the ocean and goes back down to Rapture. she becomes the Big Sister She then starts to kidnap little girls around the world to make little sisters and begin to rebuild Rapture. Dr. Tenenbaum knows what is happening and feels it is her responsibly to stop the Big Sister, so she wakes up the first PROTOTYPE Big daddy, (the player) to stop the Big sister.

The story behind her is that 10 years after being rescued from rapture a little sister went back down and suited herself with sports like big daddy suit and captured little girls to rebuild rapture. Now you, the big daddy prototype go back to rapture to sort things out once again :D Some of that i took from the OXM Magazine.
