Economy Class Seating on Emirates Boeing 777-300ER

@alexande4428 yes, on the B777-300ER there is plenty of leg room on certain models but I think some only have 32 inches of leg pitch incl. their A380.

the economy seats are very narrow, aren´t they? i will be travelling on the 777-300 er with emirates and im quite worried about it, as i realized that their configuration is 3-4-3, while in most airlines is 3-3-3 or 2-5-2 !!

@johnsalchijohn yes, their seats are definitely more narrow than in the case of most operators of the 777-300. The only airlines I've flown which is similar is Etihad on their Airbus A330 and maybe now Malaysia's A330 but Qatar have much wider seats.

I think in most cases it's bearable because it's compensated by more legroom but of course a wider seat would be better.

@SummerKingdom I think not because not all the seats on the 777-300ER economy have power, only on their A380.

@241mirza hi, yes absolutely, they recline a little but it's economy class so the recline isn't a big amount.

@Gavin9981 3-3-3 seating is about as good as it gets but yes, on Emirates (3-4-3 seating) the seats are a bit narrow.

@TheMikesyd wow, that's a substantial saving on Emirates, thanks for the info. I'm thinking of flying either Emirates or maybe Asiana or Korean Air from Sydney to London, but that's quite far out in the future and things could change.

@miezu on this plane model, the 777-300ER there is an outlet but there is no guarantee it would charge the laptop battery while operating or even when not operating due to the limited power supply, based on what I know.

Thanks, it is quite comfortable but the seats could be a bit narrow, the leg room is not a problem even if you are 6 foot.

@sidefrictioncoaster yes, a little bit. Around 17inches on the 777-300ER and a more comfortable 18 inches on the A380-800.

@ageofsagar2009 hi, it is quite good based on my experience on the 777-300 but just that the seats are not that wide except maybe in the case of the A380 Airbus. Good service and inflight entertainment is the best.

I was on this plane aswell, from dubai to sri lanka, but we sat in the back, where there were only 2 seats next to each other, so that was pretty comfy

@joranpoort hi, yes, that would have been comfy and could be a good idea, there are 3 rows of the 2-seaters at the back. Hope there was a window next to the seats.

@travelader yes, there was a window, but the only drawback was that you get the food at last, we'd like chicken but that wasn't because we were last, but we've got tolberone and some buisnessclass meals, so don't worry, just ask!
