I like Zaid Hamid. But I don't agree with everything he says. Also, it is not "urban legends" that Taliban banned girls education. It's a fact. I have heard eyewitness testimony about it from many Afghan friends from areas such as Kandahar. Also, Taliban in Sawat area burnt hundreds of girls schools a while ago. Our media reported this. Is this too an "urban legend"?

Because the media hid a particular piece of information does not follow that "everything" they report is false. So this does not negate their report that Taliban burnt girls school. And if you refuse to believe the media on the Taliban, regard "bullshit" eyewitness testimony, then what type of "evidence" do you accept? Your position borders on the absurd.
