The initial concept album forms only part of the reworked and complete show.

Since the release of that album, the work has been further developed and now includes more numbers from the original work and several new compositions. The whole production is being re-orchestrated and rerecorded. The new recording of the musical will not be completed until later in 2010. Some sample tracks might be posted before the end of 2009.

First of all, I bought this album recently, and I quickly fell in love with it. I recommend it to all of my friends. If I may offer a suggestion, alot of people seem to be confusing this project with Frank Wildhorn's Dracula musical. (Frank Wildhorn is the man who wrote Jekyll & Hyde.) Would it be possible to distinguish the two more clearly? Either way, if produced this would take precedence over any previous Dracula musical adaptation. PS: Is there any word on publishing the sheet music?

This is Bram Stokers Dracula, the musical by Evans, Orton & Lynn. I believe the other show was called Dracula - The musical.

However there are a number of shows, in various countries, called Dracula - The musical. Most are only roughly based on the novel. No news on the sheet music yet.

Hi. Yes. There will be more, eventually. The initial video was made as a promotional vehicle for the musical, in whatever medium it is to be performed. The video is also broadcast on the O-Music channel in Europe.

The Dracula concept album has been available since 2006 -

During 2008, more songs have been written / recorded for the piece and a new script for the complete work has been written.

We dont expect further development until 2009.

i.e.: blood of life.

As in the phrase from the novel, based upon the original Biblical quote, "For the blood is the life" or blood is life (to the vampire).

It is also a theme that runs through the show and the original novel.

Well, there are two different "Dracula" musicals - this one, and one by Frank Wildhorn. Just in case there may be a little confusion.

Since I began this project, back in the 1980's, there have been many international musical versions that use the name "Dracula" in the title. The music from those shows range from operatic and rock to jazz and modern musical theatre. Each one has something different to offer as a piece of entertainment.

The musical by Evans, Orton and Lynn is the professionally produced version of Bram Stoker's original 1897 novel, Dracula.
