Sgt Peppar is a very overrated album. Just ordinary popsongs, for example the titelsong and "Lovely Rita".But ver very good are most of "A Day in the Life" and "Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds". The innovations in the album were just some arrangements, not the melodies.

Far more innovative is the album "A Hard Day´s night".

One is at the beginning of the first side [vinyl version] and the other [slightly funkier version]is at the end of the second side. I know, because I have still got my vinyl copy of the stereo LP - first edition. I've just bought a hi tech gadget so that I can download it on to CD and upload it onto my iTunes playlist then download it to iPod.
