They only give 2500 exp and hard to encounter because of random monsters.

@Emerican35 btw u can use bard's song to earn even more exp and then cut them with odin, odin works like 70% success, and if he does not cut enemies in half, he will surely do it next turn :)

and I run from other monsters. All training is about patience but i am good at it :D In pokemon crystal I trained 2 days at the same sea from lv 25 to 60 :D

Omega lets you attack for a turn then you're dead. Shinryu will not let you attack if you have no Coral Rings. I prefer using Coral Rings to Omega since it will really remove the damage it deals because Fire Magic won't work against the Coral Rings.

4 attacks in a row. Each attack is a little weaker than if you just used Attack.

OK, it was more like a min.,but it sure seemed like 20 secs! (I should add that my characters were all at lvl 62, and I used the Excalibur and Enhancer (GBA names) and Bartz mastered every job,so that made it E-Z. It's a real good strategy and if you use it...E-Z BATTLE!!!)

Ha! I played the GBA Version, and basically did the same thing you did. combined (GBA version calls it) spellblade with thundaga, and used rapid fire...beat him in less than 20 sec. NO JOKE!!

Omega and Shinryuu (and to a lesser extent Gilgame) are all considered FF5's super bosses, but really, the other two don't deserve to be in the same category as Omega. Horrible fight, that. Mainly because of surge beam and circle :(
