(Qur'an - 9:117) They were thirty thousand.
The truth is that Imamah is an imaginary concept concocted by the Shia scholars and it does not exist. If it existed, it would be in the Quran; its absence from the Quran is evidence of its imaginary nature. Salat is mentioned 700 times, and yet we find zero verses in the Quran about Infallible Imams; even the name of Ali, the leader of these Imams, is not mentioned.We wonder why Salat is mentioned so many times in the Quran, but there is absolutely no mention of the 12 Imams.

Uthman had a son named Asim, he had a grand daughter Aisha d/o Umar s/o Asim s/o Uthman. Hussain had a son named Ali. He had a grandson named Ishaq s/o Abdullah s/o Ali. Ishaq married Aisha, and they had a son Yahya s/o Ishaq.

Hasan, the elder son of Ali, married Hafsa bint Abur Rahman, the grand daughter of Abu Bakr, hence Hasan was the son in law of Abu Bakr’s son, Abdur Rahman.
The mother of the sixth imam of Shiites was Umm Farwa, wife of Imam Baqir, who was the grandson of Hussain. Umm Farwa’s father name was Qasim bin Muhammad bin Abu Bakr, and his mother’s name was Asma bint Abdur Rahman bin Abu Bakr. Hence the maternal grandfather and grandmother of the sixth imam of Shiites, to whom the Shiites attribute their Fiqh, were the grand children of Abu Bakr, i.e Qasim and Asma. If it existed, it would be in the Quran; its absence from the Quran is evidence of its imaginary nature. Salat is mentioned 700 times, and yet we find zero verses in the Quran about Infallible Imams; even the name of Ali, the leader of these Imams, is not mentioned.We wonder why Salat is mentioned so many times in the Quran, but there is absolutely no mention of the 12 Imams.

During the lifetime of the Prophet, many of the enemies of Islam hurt the Prophet by slandering his wife, and this pained the Prophet very much. The Prophet said:
“Who would exonerate me from the accusations of that person who has troubled me in regards to my family? By Allah, I find nothing in my wife but goodness!”

Uthman had a son named Asim, he had a grand daughter Aisha d/o Umar s/o Asim s/o Uthman. Hussain had a son named Ali. He had a grandson named Ishaq s/o Abdullah s/o Ali. Ishaq married Aisha, and they had a son Yahya s/o Ishaq.

Uthman’s son , Umru, had a son named Abdullah. Hussain’s daughter Fatima was married to him, hence Uthman’s grandson was the son in law of Hussain s/o Ali. Abdullah bin Umru bin Uthman had three childrens from her whose names are Qasim, Muhammad and Ruqiyyah.

As for Zaynab the elder the daughter of Fatima, she was [married] with `Abd Allah ibn Ja`far and gave him children. As for Umm Kulthum the elder, also the daughter of Fatima, she was [married] with Umar ibn al-Khattab and gave him children. When `Umar was killed Muhammad ibn Ja`far ibn Abi Talib married her.

“Indeed Imams are his (Abu Bakr’s) descendants because Jafar Sadiq’s mother Umm Farwa was daughter of Qasim bin Muhammad bin Abu Bakr”
Jafar Sadiq said “Abu Bakr gave me birth twice”

Hasan, the elder son of Ali, married Hafsa bint Abur Rahman, the grand daughter of Abu Bakr, hence Hasan was the son in law of Abu Bakr’s son, Abdur Rahman.

The mother of the sixth imam of Shiites was Umm Farwa, wife of Imam Baqir, who was the grandson of Hussain. Umm Farwa’s father name was Qasim bin Muhammad bin Abu Bakr, and his mother’s name was Asma bint Abdur Rahman bin Abu Bakr. Hence the maternal grandfather and grandmother of the sixth imam of Shiites, to whom the Shiites attribute their Fiqh, were the grand children of Abu Bakr, i.e Qasim and Asma. So Imam Jafar was born due to the relationships of the families of Abu Bakr and Ali.

Shia means The Followers...so anybody who follows anyone can be called as Shia....in Islam Shiaan e Ali AS...means the people who consider Imam Ali AS as the next to the Prophet SAWA (As Prophet SAWA Himself Declared Ali AS at Ghadeer)
Shia don't believe in the Prophecy of Imam Ali as...They just consider Ali as the IMAM...

@Nasser1117.... I ask you to first do some research in Holy Qur'an and your own books of History... Just in case if you can't find.... There is a verse is Holy Qur'an that says that... Prophet Moses(A.S.) is a Shi'a of Prophet Abraham(A.S.)... also you may find in your Hadith books that Shi'a of Maw'la Ali(A.S.) are referred victorious in the Hereafter by Prophet Muhammad(S) [please consider references in next post].
