technically no one could really know Jack's Mannequin before they were popular because they were pretty much popular from the start, if you watch Dear Jack (buy it on itunes the money goes to help cancer research!) it says that their 1st album debuted at like number 8ish on the Billboard charts so thats pretty high if you ask me, but it doesn't really matter because we all have their amazing music :)

PurpleDawn820, you'll learn one day that it doesn't matter when or how people come to love a band. It doesn't make you more entitled because you loved a band before they were popular. All that matters is that there are other people out there who connect with a band the way you do. And that is beautiful.

i completely agree booshgal33.. i mean ive like jacks for ony bout2 3 years now, ive never seen them live because im from ireland.. no one knows them here.. i heard there song somewhere when i was on holiday in america, didnt know who the hell it was.. i went home, googled the lyrics i had scribbled down on a napkin and discovered "im ready".. and the rest is history..!! defo my favourite band but just cos i hadnt been a soco fan doesnt take away from the fact that i love their music now..! x
