  • TJ you are a pompous ass. You sound intelligent and articulate, but anyone with an iota of common sense could have seen that Senator Boxer was playing race politics. Come on TJ get a clue.

  • hahahahhaa

  • YOU ARE THE FOOL!!!!!!!

  • TJ, if you didn't pick up on the racism from Boxer, you are either ignorant or turning a blind eye to it. Tell me, if someone presented an opinion by a white group, would you feel compelled to agree with it? Wouldn't logic be a more compelling argument?

  • There's 0:48 of my life I'll never get back. Not only complete waste of time, but gay, too. Double whammy.

  • Thanks for watching every last second!

  • total joke walker

  • Harry Alford for California Governor!

  • Your a dumbass. Boxer ass kisser.

  • This guy is a jerk. Anybody that holds an ass like Bill Maher in high regard like he does on his channel loses all credibility. Bill Maher is angry smug and a terminally self righteous asshole. That fact that he can make the money he does hang with the rich " Hefner" at the mansion and criticize capitalism well can we say hypocrisy squared.

  • WOW TJ,!

I recommend not posing your views again! You're a dolt! Americans are through with your lib mentality! We're sick of it! If you can't see how sickening racist she was then you don't get it!! Alford was there for an energy talk! It had nothing to do with race, yet she tried to turn it that way!

  • Boxer played the race card with that man to get him to feel he should support her opinion. And it was in public no less. Notice how when he called her ma'am she didn't bitch.

She is an absolute disgrace. We out here in California are doing everthing we can to end her career.

  • We here in Maryland applaud your efforts to get this woman out. We will be working on outing Hoyer. frankly I think we the people need to make sweeping changes across all states. Be well.

  • We up here in Washington State also believe Nancy Pelosi and Barbara Boxer to be C*NT$ OF THE UNIVERSE and hope you guys in California can drop them both off somewhere between the coast of Cali and Japan. While your at it,...throw Nancy Grace in the mix to will ya? : )

  • how come he could call her ma'am!!??and the general had to call her senator

  • "you don't know" : Boxer

underlying meaning; im better, smarter, who are you to question me. and heres my card to counter you

  • You're wrong, TJ. Did you count how many times Alford addressed Boxer as "Ma'am" wihout her even flinching? It's clear to me that she found it perfectly acceptable for one she regards as inferior to address her as ma'am. He made a point of informing her that he too was a US Army veteran, just in case there was a perception out there (one which you apparently hold) that Boxer's condescension was anything but racially based. Also, she was terribly rude, talking over him while he was speaking.

  • yea right, because you too are racist.

    Brigadere General = white

    Senetaor Boxer = white

    you = white

NAACP is brought up how many times in a serious energy exchange? almost NONE

Seems like you didnt really listen to what they were saying, sounding polite vs sounding angry doesnt mean a damn thing when it comes to right or wrong.

People did the same thing with Judge Sotomayer, bring up puerto rican and women. That was sexist, this is racist.

  • AND HE IS A BLACK DRAMA QUEENNNNN!!!!

  • You sir are wrong. What does the NAACP have to do with the conversation regarding energy? Nothing. It was brought up by Sen. Boxer only because she knew she would be talking to someone from the Black Chamber of Commerce. Give me a break and look at things from a real world point of view. He was black, she knew it and so she tried to play the race card and got called on it.

  • Douche. How often does the NAACP come up in serious discussions on the econ or anything else. Barb was doing the usual thing with conservative blacks that all libs do. Painting him as an uncle Tom and trader to his race. Alford knew of her long history of mistreatment of conservative blacks and yes he was ready to fight. btw Barb. Great job in leading California. But the rest of the country really does not want to go that route.

  • TJ you are wrong.

Mr. Alford reprents a BUSINESS org. If She wanted to refute the NBCC's findings, she should have found another BUSINESS organization- not a CIVIL RIGHTS org and a COMMUNITY SERVICE org.

I'm with Mr. Alford here...who cares what they think about energy policy? It's a bit outside their area of expertise don't you think?

  • Really, you think she was genuine!?!? It is funny how liberals are always the first to paint someone with a race label and then when an accomplished man who was invited to testify because of his accomplishments takes offense at his positions being challenged solely on the basis of his race you say he is arrogant and looking for a fight! You are a idiot!

  • "black guy" should bow down to her research because some other black guy says so... that WAS a racist stance on defending her own ill-informed, lobbyist driven politics...

To say any different only displays your own illiterate mentality..

  • Funny, I see an ignorant idiot defending an arrogant bitch!!!

First, I can't say that I have much more than 3 black friends, so, I don't see the humor in that statement.

But, For someone to illude to saying that basically it was the black guy who was looking to pick a fight. You're an damn moron!! Senator Botox (or Senator Biggot.... Boxer... whatever you want to say) was looking to pick a fight from the start by even telling him he didn't know when she got to CA. She just thought the

  • tjwalker - You are a fraud. Just so everyone completely understands, this man you see here in this video is the CEO of Media Training Worldwide, which has Goldman Sachs listed as one of their clients on their website. Goldman Sachs is a global investment banking and securities firm which stands to earn billions of untaxed dollars if the cap and trade bill ever passes.

  • you don't understand the subtle power of boxer's suggestion. alford DID and i cannot find fault with him for taking exception.

believe it or not, blacks are not all of the same mind! also, they might not all prefer being shepherded by whites into flocks at the risk of total alienation...

boxer is a typical liberal fascist slave driver. don't support her.

  • Their agenda is the destruction of the free peoples of the world

  • she is still a racist.Libs dont think black people can look out for themselves..Also libs think all minorities agree on all subjects.

  • right. they view blacks as their little pets and like boxer (an ironic name to say the least) exhibited, they get a little testy when one of their cute little pets gets out of line!

  • You're wrong. No problem. Boxer is a smaller scale Pelosi. If that's possible. Who knew God would create two of them? Pretty scary.

  • tj walker=racist jew

  • There was no value to or reason for a resolution fromt the NAACP that did not address the proposed legislation and did not add any research to be entered into the record. Alford accepted the PEW study, but was rignt to call the NAACP resolution what it was.

  • She was doing the whole "Some of my friends are black" act... He was righteously outraged

  • lol..."but i have 3 black friends!"

whenever you keep a running tally of how many black people you know, you're racist as hell.

  • We as a people have got to stop allowing our elected officials to look down upon us. Could you imagine a man like Ted Kennedy questioning anyone else on their ethics. Having Boxer demand to be called 'Senator' since when is Maam unacceptable.

My reply would have been, "Given my freedom of speach I will address you as I damn well please, madam!" Maybe that's better?

    Mr. Alfred. lead on sir!

  • you might wanna get some rogaine...along with some common sense

  • Wow well then that settles it.

TJ Smuckstein thinks it and then proclaims it as gospel.

    F-ck off. Who are you?

  • The head of a black group complaining it's racist to read aloud comments from other black groups - now that's rich!

This guy reminds me of Michael Steele. Lot's of bluster but no substance.

  • TJ HOOKER

Who gives a crap what you think.

  • Do I think Mr. Alford was overly sensitive? Perhaps. Me personally, I think more people need to yank the rug out from under sanctimonious, and in this case, patronizing clowns like Sen. Boxer more often. So good for Mr. Alford.

  • you're a dumbass

  • BLACK DRAMA QUEEN!

  • I agree with the majority on this matter, Barbra Boxer was way out of line, unnecessary comments from NAACP, other organizations. She was trying to win, but lost, when she pulled an awful racial thing, bad move.

  • she is shoving shit down our throats you secular - progressive wackos. Socialism has not worked for any country in history. POS

  • dude, stop trying to apologise for boxer, she was wrong. Boxer, instead of trying to support her argument with facts she tried to play the "hey look, here are some other blacks like yourself that like this idea" and that may work on some but this Gentlemen was not having it.

She might as well said hey, your black so you must like watermelon and fried chicken.

  • She was doing nothing more than pitting other black groups against the Black Chamber of Commerce and frankly, I respect Mr. Alford for calling her out on it & she was very rude to Mr. Alford, like he asked, if she wasn't racial, why didn't she quote some Aisian group or whatever?? Because she was parading a black group to represent her liberal agenda & another thing, why didn't she jump down his throat when Mr. Alford was calling her "ma'am" and tell him to call her Senator, blah, blah, blah

  • Your assessment is alarming. Rather than focus on the issue that caused the heated exchange, energy, you chose to make a video?? declaring that Sen. Boxer won the exchange based on some silly assessment of demeanor. No disrespectful words were uttered by Mr. Alford, who in turn received a disrespectful & condescending lecture the Sen. Her whole argument was based on an unintellectual & irrelevant presumption that was in fact highlighted by her patronizing approach.

  • Perhaps a self-assessment might lead you down the road of discovery in figuring out what led you to cast Mr. Alford's respectful reaction to Sen. Boxer's condescension as hostile? He was simply shocked and even warned that proceeding down that path would lead to public backlash. And, all accounts would agree that it has. Her colleagues and fellow chairs were rather silent during the exchange if you notice...ever wonder why?

  • I agree with you 100% Genceroni.

  • Who are you??? Why does anyone care?

  • Dude, YOU come off as such a pompous blowhard that is soooo excrutiating to hear that I struggled to make it through the 48 seconds - bottom line: Boxer is a DISCRACE. period. no debate. A discrace who uses her position to manipulate the debate to her favor. She would get CRUSHED on evil footing because she simply lacks the intellectual horsepower to keep up. And I am a liberal!!!

  • What did you watch? You must actually condone this type of behavior or lack of respect. Not only ignorant, but every definition of the word STUPID.

  • Sir I respectfully Disagree with you, What Miss Boxer was presenting was totally irrelevant to what was being discussed, rather than taking what the man had to say at its own value as a ranking government commerce official she choose to attempt to dismiss it as one black mans opinion and state the black community doesn't believe this so its not legitimate evidence. Mr. Alford had every right to be upset she was condescending and downright rude even if you dismiss the racial issues.

  • She's basically holding up a paper saying "all these other coloreds are for it why aren't you?" This is the kind of contempt the democratic party has for the African-American people, they pigeon-hole people into catergories (black, gay, women, christians etc.....) instead of all being Americans. As long as their are Democrats alive there will always be racism! They thrive on strife!

  • Dude,

Get a life. That lady is a discrace to the HUMAN race.

  • My question is why did she bring up the NAACP and 100 black men from Atlanta into a discussion about ENERGY? She is pitting other blacks up to the Chamber to try and convince him to come to their wacky enviro-crazy side. Would she be bringing up the NAACP if it was a white man? Then again, I don't think a white man would be heading the Black Chamber of Commerce. And no that's not racist.

  • So, basically, Sen. Boxer tells a black man that he's out of step with his victim group and to get back into line and you think the black man is in the wrong? Then she condescends to him by telling him how proud his black peer would be that a black man is a member of a panel called by her committee.

I'm sorry, but that just shows exactly how racist this woman really is.

  • Hey dude I checked with the "Association Of White Guys Who Comment On YouTube Videos" or also known as AOWGWCOYTV and they say that Barbara is a total moron; so I think you should also believe the same since you are all white. How does that feel?. It's not right not even as a joke ain't it?.

  • When the group that invited him there decided to put a Black face on their side to make the case that Black people were down for their cause, they invited her to find two Black groups (NAACP and 100 black Men of Atlanta) who were not on their side. This is what happens when Republicans try to go token-for-token with Democrats. As a black man, I found it entertaining.

  • Boxer happens to not be Republican and she needs to be voted out. Of course that list is very long list.

  • Mr Alford has been testifying on these matters for over 10 years. He was not there to be 'Black' and speak for 'Blacks'. With your logic Blacks are incapable of discussing matter as Americans without being tokens.

  • I'm very sorry but I can't stand it when I see people legitimizing bigotry. Honestly, Senator Boxer basically told this man that his opinion was only significant in the context of "the support black community." The NAACP doesn't know a thing about business!!!!!!!!!!...why on earth does she think she can equate that with the Black Chamber of Commerce. She may as well have referred to them as "your kind."

And you and senator boxer have a lot in common in that you are both disgustingly smug.

  • Her referencing the NAACP is relevant because they are both organizations that proclaim to represent the black community.

  • BLACK DRAMA QUEEN NEGRO DRAMA QUEEN!

Interrupting non stop... and typical US American taking all personal, defensive, and relate all to racism hoopla.

  • You have to be full blown stupid. That man had facts from other experts about Cap and Trade and all Barbra Boxer tried to do is dump him off against black activist/political groups who are not global warming experts on any degree.

Cliff notes: Boxer did not would not engage directly with him and pushed him off to her racially divided policical activists whom are not experts. It is like saying "these black people agree with me so since you are black you deal with the black people and not me"

  • you have to be kidding, this women looked like what she is, a raciest

  • wata fag

  • I need spell check LOL

  • Her view on the enviroment are BULLSHIT.She was being a condecending cunt.He called her out on it.But hey he,s a liberal FUCKTARD also.Blacks keep voting for the dems. They never done a damn thing for the black race.Except pander to them. And they vot for them every time(SHEEP)!

  • TJ, you got it right.

He was clearly going to be antagonistic, resorted to playing the race card and when it didnt get results he threw a full-on fit. FAIL.

She kept cool and diffused his interruptions, staying on target and actually punking him (if people posting here would bother knowing about political effect, etc)

  • She was not being racial. He is chairman of the BLACK chamber of commerce and his goal in any discussion is the promotion of BLACK jobs. Who else could she quote to prove the green jobs movement is in his interest? He was playing the race card and she didn't budge.

  • Sir you are the one that looks like a fool. Throwing the NAACP up in his face was condescending, like saying I have a black organization supporting me and all of you black people stick together. That was insulting. Maybe you need to do your homework on racism and how it has affected African Americans. White Democrats are subtle with their racism which is even more deadly.

  • farblonjet, the topic of this energy bill does involve the creation of jobs, as these green powered energy facilities both need to be built and operated, which is why the NAACP supported it, and Alford as head of the "National Black Chamber of Commberce" came to testify on behalf of what he believes to be the black community, and besides his organization has recieved 275,000 from exxon, so I understand why he race baited

  • Just because she talks in a calm tone does not mean that she was not being condescending you idiot. She was being racial. "Look other negroes think like I do, why don't you?" That's what she was saying. I am white just for the record.

  • TJ Walker, you are WRONG on this. Boxer was EVERYTHING Alford said she was in that clip - not only was her tone condescending but her content and motive. She was quite clearly trying to win over a man who *happened* to be black, by quoting a completely irrelevant endorsement from the NAACP, which has absolutely NO authority on energy policy or job creation in any shape or form. The ONLY reason she brought them up was because Alford is black and she thought "this will please him.' She's a RACIST

  • good point

  • TJ, I call bullshit on you! You are so-o-o wrong. I'm kind of suspicious of the intent of your video response. Call me skeptical but I believe ppl like you are "good little socialist democrats"Hired or planted by the senator. Barbara would surely thank you for your loyalty.

  • I think you're confusing "tone" with content. One can insult someone else and still keep up appearances of being a gentleman, uh, gentlewoman, uh, nice lady, Senator - whatever she wants to be called. Anyway, typical plantation politics of the left.

  • The man was not there to rep the black community, he was there to talk energy. So why did she bring up the naacp?

  • and your a dumd ass tjwalker

  • Yes, he looked like a hypersensitive self-hater.

  • Lovely! Black was non stop interrupting from the beginning, defensive, and being the stereotype negro with sensitive personal attacks with the racial hoopla! He was trying to manipulate the situation with his drama! DRAMA BLACK QUEEN!!

  • ZERO stars.. boxer is an ass hole. just like nancy the lying science experiment gone wrong.

  • This is the pathetic state of leadership in the US.

  • Boxer and the government work for the nation. The nation does not work for them.

She needs sensitivity training that she subscribes for other. She is not smart enough to listen. Hers are agenda driven thoughts-she has the conclusion and fills in the blanks to get there.

  • And he is BLACK DRAMA QUEEN, BLACK DRAMA QUEEN!

She needs to SPANK HIM! or worst, to through a HOSE at him!

  • TJ, are you on Babs payroll? This black man didn't have a chip on his shoulder, but was passionate about the Energy Tax bill & represents small businesses throughout the country. He brought facts, she wasn't interested. She had BS opinions, he had no time for. Someone finally called her out & she tried to back pedal around it & I think she looked stupid. Thank you Mr. Alford for speaking out for all Americans. Cap & Trade Tax Bill sucks & so does Babs, Waxman & all who aimlessly support it.

  • Sorry - I disagree. What she was saying to him was "You may oppose me, but here's what other BLACKS have to say." It was as close as she could come to saying he wasn't "black enough." Black conservatives encounter this mentality all the time. She was definitely trying to paint him as a non-team player. JMHO

  • T J Walker, grow a set of balls and say what America needs to be said. Boxer needs to go and let's take back the America I grew up in. Not a had out state, or a "hey u sik, let's give em health care" racist not!, just work for a living and earned my keep! you want something for free, then go to ?????? oh, yes Obama says here!

  • Face it, Boxer is an idiot. She sucks and is helping to bring CA to it's knees. Thank God she's not my "Senator'.

  • I agree with tj. here is my point of view. America is full of dumb asses that opposes or supports bills based on a belief system they have created for themselves which they cling too even if proven not effective.

So here is my point. In politics unfortunate proven science be the only thing to pass a bill. people have to do the political dance which includes what Sen Boxer did. She reached out to several groups of people to get support to show that her position is shared amongst more Americans.

  • continued...

If Sen Boxer didn't include these organizations I bet this black chairman would argue the study didn't include enough organizations that represented the minorities of the country and that her position didn't represent the position of all Americans.. You guys see how this works now?

  • How can you say she was being polite to him? She was talking to him like he was a little kid, like he was someone below her. Perhaps you should try watching the video again. If she wanted to have a serious debate about energy, why bring up the black groups? Is the NAACP a scientific organization? She is basically saying to him "See, other black people are for the energy bill, you should be too". Put your liberal world view aside and rewatch the video again before making yourself out to be a fool

  • I think they both looked silly. She played the "you don't know anything about CA" card at the beginning. He played the race card. She tried to fake offense by using the "my husband is a vet" card. Real winners are media outlets and bloggers who write up this as a big deal, and the losers are the rest of us Americans who want to stay engaged with what our government is doing, but instead have to watch these petty exchanges that lead nowhere.

  • Why don't you try watching the clip again. The attitude she had in the "ma'am" is the same attitude all the liberals like you and her both walk around with. The only reason why you don't pretend to think the same thing as you claim with her "ma'am exchange is the fact that someone finally called you (liberals) out on your racist disrespectful distain for people who dont do or think what you want them to.

  • boo hoo. keep playing the victim.

  • I believe Alford was race baiting, and what is wrong with listing the NAACP as a group that supports the jobs this energy bill will bring. Alford is saying he's representing part of the black community through the NBCC, but Boxer is now listing differing views in the black community who support this bill. I don't see what is wrong with that.

  • Because it was a position paper that had nothing to do with the CRA International paper that was being discussed in committee. All four of Boxer's sources were completely irrelevant, and she cited two of them simply because they were black groups and for no other reason.

  • I completely agree with you tjwalker, she did come off as rude to the general, but in this exchange she was staying serious, calm, and collected. Besides agreeing with you though, I want to thank you very much for the manner in which you present your views. There is too much hatred and contempt out there for people with differing view points, and I wish more people would express their views as you have.

  • Boxer, Obama, and the rest of the commie pinkos that are destroying our country deserve to be treated with hatred and contempt. Feminized little cowards like tjwalker are disgusting and make me sick.

  • Thanks for telling it like it is.

Republicans are blinded by their hate of Boxer to try to paint her as a racist.

But DUH, that's obviously not what happened, Alford faked outrage and used the race card.

  • i could tell that i didn't like you before you even said anything, wow...get a life and would you mind actually listening to the video you respond to make a video response instead of being a complete idiot and only hearing what you want to hear. OPEN YOUR EYES MAN...YOUVE TURNED INTO A CRAZY LIBERAL FREAK

  • One more thing tgaywalker...

    Less gay... more manly. Ok?

There's nothing enlightened about sticking your pee pee up another mans bum bum.

    Thx

  • Let me explain to you what Barbara Boxer was really doing Mr Gaylib video responder...

By quoting all of those black groups Boxer was trying to subtly and politely INTIMIDATE Mr Alford into submission with the unspoken implication that to contradict her position was to contradict all those other black groups and thereby put himself at risk of being painted as an UNCLE TOM by other DEMOCRATS.

Watch the tape again and see if you can figure it out Mr Gaylib video repsponder.

  • I think you all should watch Fox News on Monday.... Alford will be on there! Also I find it quite strange the little accent Obama had the other day at the NAACP. I felt like I was down south attended a sermon in a Baptist Church. LOL

  • Yeah I'm a Republican.... She caught him red handed..... This guy got caught here with his "Hand In The Cookie Jar". Review the conversation and pay attention to when she talks about Exxon-Mobil.

  • this guy does what liberals always do, they try to show that they are fair by saying how they opposed the person in the past when they are closet libzz

  • WTF, TJ? WTF!!!! Senator Ma'am was clearly patronizing Mr. Alford like he was some little kid in class. God bless Mr. Alford for taking a stand against the generalizations subtly made by Senator Ma'am. This mindset is set in the democratic party and leftists like yourself stating that all Black people think the same. Trust me, if more episodes like this occurs, there will be a Republican in the White House in 2012!!!

  • No youre wrong dude. She was being condescending and patronizing by believeing that parading 2 resolutions by black groups that have no knowledge about energy would shut up a black man who dissents from the democratic position.

  • You are mistaking her patronizing tone with her being polite? You can't be serious. He was right to be insulted. What the hell does the NAACP report have anything to do with the damn conversation they were having? I'd understand if they were experts but having the support of (as she so painstakingly pointed out several times) a "diverse" number of groups is completely irrelevant! So the NAACP and several other "diverse" groups support her view, makes it right? How the hell is that valid?

  • what a waste. Wake up!

  • you are a complete retard if you support Boxer in this.

  • I couldn't even make it through the whole 48 secs of this videotaped detritus. Someone open a window and let some of the WRONG out of TJ's house.

  • I regret that I wasted time watching this stupid video.

  • TJ,

I find it odd that when the gentleman referred to her as MAM, she did not rebuke him and insist on the Senator title. Is it because he is a black man?

  • TJ, TJ, TJ!! You're clearly spoiling for a fight. 48 seconds of pure BS. Is that what you had in mind?

C'mon kiddo, you know when you're whipped. This woman was continually talking down to Mr. Alford.

Can you honestly say that Mr. Alford did not respond appropriately?

You are driving around the world with your left turn signals on.

  • i think your a flaming leftist who wears breifs not boxers

  • More like panties, not briefs!

  • You are completely wrong and like most liberals you missed the point. Should I quote a "white authority" to refute you? She was practicing the worst kind of Democrat condescending racism. What if he had quoted Vaclav Klaus about the true agenda of the GW'ists and she had said, "But Mr. Alford he's white, not black."

That is exactly what she was doing . Corraling all the "blacks" in one little pen and segregating them. No accident that KKK Robert Byrd is a Democrat. This is the way they think.

  • yup, NCOMUSCLE, my jaw dropped when she brought up the NAACP, just shocking

  • I totally agree. One had absolutely nothing to do with the other. She mentioned the NAACP simply because he was black. I'm sure she "thought" it would appease him and he'd shut up, but he did not. SMH @Boxer who has always thought of herself as a "ballbuster", now the tables were turned.

  • It is even WORSE than that! She also quoted the CEO of 100 black men of Atlanta. So she quoted TWO black groups just "coincidentally" when speaking to a black man.

  • The NAACP quote was relevant. It said the NAACP SUPPORTS GREEN JOBS IN URBAN AREAS. The hearing was to address said green jobs. There is nothing wrong with quoting supporters of your cause, just as Alford did in the SAME EXACT HEARING. He is the one bringing up race here. Saying she should have to quote "asians or whites" because he's a black man..

Maybe if you watched the whole damn thing, instead of just what O'Reilly showed you, you may understand what you're fucking talking about.
