As for Codex, if you live anywhere near countryside then nettles are what's known as a super food. Get them wild - grown organically! - and they are an excellent food source. You can even dry them for over the winter.

Do a bit of research and you'd be surprised what plants you can eat that grow in your back yard. They're not in the supermarkets because they don't taste great.
