wonderful ! i can listen to lata's sweet voice and salil's beautiful music endlessly. salil had a knack of fusing western claasical with indian music without the song losing its indianness.western claasical in between the verses and indian , when the verses started , is noticeable in many of salil's compositions . and what poetry ! in those days, about which one can't even imagine nowadays ! and lastly the stars of yesteryears looked so sweet and innocent ! it was another world altogether !
