@bvestationfan Hmmmm the Culver Line is the same way except it has two elevated stations....so what difference does it make!

@bvestationfan : Keeping the line as a subway right through here would have resulted in grades to steep for the railcars to negotiate.

@bvestationfan at this point, Manhattan takes a very deep drop in elevation due to a fault line, so to keep the subway relatively level, it had to go elevated for this one stop.
