I believe that the better future for the humanity is some kind of communist society but not the bullshit communism and socialism of Marx, Engels and Lenin. It would be more like a ant hive where all cooperate equally for the whole hive. Only such society will be able to conquer space because I doubt that capitalism and corporations will ever be able to do it. They do not invest in risky businesses. Exploration of any kind becomes more and more expensive.
