@manisdrillingcompany its not hydrolocked bc the car is still running you see to hydrolock a motor the motor has to get water in it an the way it does that is getting water in threw the air filter or exaust so there for the air filter has to be under water whitch is clearly not in this case an with the car running the exaust will push the water back out instead of letting it in as long as the car is running its fine

I have driven through a flooded intersection with the water about three feet deep. I went around a stalled car, but not close to the edge of the road. If you have to drive through water over the road, you pick the best spot. The Mini driver clearly did not give much thought to what he was doing.

Nah I've actually got a collector's car, and it doesn't matter how much money I've got, I see people like this all the time. I was in town once where the road was flooded; most people were going through the water carefully and cautiously, but this idiot in a Mercedes overtook everyone and went straight through it - only to get water in his engine and his car cut out.
