Only lately I found a respectable dealer i London who is selling great 2nd hand Rolex watches for a fraction of what Inpaid for mine. Personally I Think it is a very good way to ho about getting a Rolex that can last the rest of your lifetime.

Did the dropping and cracking (I can imagine your horror) of your Rolex make the warranty null and void? My husband is researching his first Rolex and I saw your video. I thought they warranted them for life... is the warranty just for the mechanism and parts and wont cover accidents?

Part ll: For some people (including myself), it just doesn't matter that the diamonds or dials aren't genuine Rolex and that Rolex won't service the watch, however, it is important to differentiate between original Rolex diamonds, dials and parts and aftermarket parts added by someone other then Rolex.
@5gorgeous I agree! Rolex is a bit anal about their watches which I totally understand. I took my original Rolex in to have it serviced and cleaned at an Authorized Rolex Dealer... The cost, $2,000! It was working perfectly so I declined. I had much better ways to spend my money and then broke it weeks later.
So... If they won't service my "AfterMarket" Rolex, I don't even care. I can get it cleaned, serviced etc at my personal jewelers and still save money!
That's a nice watch Lana, but in regards to the Melrose Jewelers prices being low, the age of the Rolex's is one reason and that the AFTERMARKET DIAMONDS, DIALS and BRACELETS are NOT GENUINE ROLEX.
Rolex will not service a watch with ANY aftermarket parts including diamonds.

I just got some Jimmy Choo rain boots for 40% off and have been wearing them like a champ but I was a tad embarrassed about his mother and my sister in law seeing them bc they are so judgmental. Lana I know nothing about Melrose Jewelers. however there are a ton of complaints on the internet about them. Be careful that they are not a scam. In the future, look at places such as Tourneau which is reputable and sells used Rolexes. The #1 luxury watch store in the USA. Good luck! They have scamed many people. So take your rolex for an appraisal...
@chopard4545 I took both watches and had them appraised immediately by an independent jeweler who said they were 100% authentic. Apparently there are a series of numbers, the serial numbers and case reference numbers, near the band attachment that says when it was produced and where and it's serial numbers. They were appraised higher than what I paid for them so I was thrilled. Thank you for the valuable information!

I got my first rolex last Christmas and I love it. I love yours with those 500 diamonds. I have diamonds on the numbers and bezel only. FYI, there are authentic Rolex stores in the Caribbean such as Cayman islands and gold is cheaper there so the the rolex are automatically 20 percent off.

I can recommend Perry's Estate Jewelry, based in Charlotte, NC. They have a tv show on Dish Network on a regular schedule; I would get a $50 gift certificate for anyone using my name for their first purchase, but that's not feasible here. I think it's kind of you to tell us where to get a good deal be it rolex's or a .99 cent nail polish a good deal is a good deal. I think that there are some that are just bitter because they can't afford it. But that's just the way life rolls. If anyone deserves some breaks in life & some good things it's you. You've worked hard and come a long way. You've made it clear that family means more the any possessions. To me that shows how good your heart is.
@PoshPatootie I always use Seche Vite as a top coat. Dries FAST and lasts for days! LOVE the stuff. You can buy it at Sally's Beauty about $8.00 but lasts for months!

That's a beautiful watch. For myself I'd get a second hand rolex any day. We have an auction service that sells things that have been reposessed and There was a beautiful rolex watch with diamonds and emeralds that I saw when I worked the auction and it was gorgeous but still beyond my means at the time when I was a student lol and still is since I just graduated lol.

My dad is going to flip when I tell him about this. He bought a platinum Rolex a few years back from a Rolex in dealer in NY. He paid way more than he should have, but he didn't know about this option. Oh well, his loss haha
You have to stop worrying about what people think about your lifestyle and finances. If they want to bicker and complain, then let them, they're just jealous. You and your husband work hard, and deserve everything. :)

Part ll: For some people (including myself), it just doesn't matter that the diamonds or dials aren't genuine Rolex and that Rolex won't service the watch, however, it is important to differentiate between original Rolex diamonds, dials and parts and aftermarket parts added by someone other then Rolex.
But it's still is a nice watch :)

@5gorgeous I agree! Rolex is a bit anal about their watches which I totally understand. I took my original Rolex in to have it serviced and cleaned at an Authorized Rolex Dealer... The cost, $2,000! It was working perfectly so I declined. I had much better ways to spend my money and then broke it weeks later.
So... If they won't service my "AfterMarket" Rolex, I don't even care. I can get it cleaned, serviced etc at my personal jewelers and still save money!

That's a nice watch Lana, but in regards to the Melrose Jewelers prices being low, the age of the Rolex's is one reason and that the AFTERMARKET DIAMONDS, DIALS and BRACELETS are NOT GENUINE ROLEX.
Rolex will not service a watch with ANY aftermarket parts including diamonds.

I just got some Jimmy Choo rain boots for 40% off and have been wearing them like a champ but I was a tad embarrassed about his mother and my sister in law seeing them bc they are so judgmental. Lana I know nothing about Melrose Jewelers. however there are a ton of complaints on the internet about them. Be careful that they are not a scam. In the future, look at places such as Tourneau which is reputable and sells used Rolexes. The #1 luxury watch store in the USA. Good luck! They have scamed many people. So take your rolex for an appraisal...

@chopard4545 I took both watches and had them appraised immediately by an independent jeweler who said they were 100% authentic. Apparently there are a series of numbers, the serial numbers and case reference numbers, near the band attachment that says when it was produced and where and it's serial numbers. They were appraised higher than what I paid for them so I was thrilled. Thank you for the valuable information!

I got my first rolex last Christmas and I love it. I love yours with those 500 diamonds. I have diamonds on the numbers and bezel only. FYI, there are authentic Rolex stores in the Caribbean such as Cayman islands and gold is cheaper there so the the rolex are automatically 20 percent off.

Lana, I judge you 100% a-okay. I deal with jealousy and mean-spiritedness at times, but I'm a good shopper, we live within our means (retirement), but I'm one hell of a good shopper. I can recommend Perry's Estate Jewelry, based in Charlotte, NC. They have a tv show on Dish Network on a regular schedule; I would get a $50 gift certificate for anyone using my name for their first purchase, but that's not feasible here. Check it out .... from one brat to another, love and hugs!

I think it's kind of you to tell us where to get a good deal be it rolex's or a .99 cent nail polish a good deal is a good deal. I think that there are some that are just bitter because they can't afford it. But that's just the way life rolls. If anyone deserves some breaks in life & some good things it's you.
