You know what really interests me about this scene? It's amazing that while, to the audience, the kiss is the focal point... in the background (in the bar) it's business as usual. People aren't even looking. Usually in movies, when a scene like this happens... they make a big deal of showing that everyone around the two characters noticed the big kiss. I love this juxtaposition -that while the audience plainly sees how pivotal this scene is, in the realm of the movie... it's not even noticeable.
